How to uninstall Mccaffe antivirus by John Mccaffe himself

McAfee is a joke.

£4.99 is cheap but to be honest I would steer clear of McAfee (or Norton etc) even at this price. Possibly ok for a phone or tablet but I'd look at an alternative for your PC such as Bitdefender (I know it costs more)

Maafee uninstalled himself, sold company and it's now an Intel product. Company now facing having CEO in jail for insider trading.

I realise this product isn't for everyone, but that video is 4 and a half years old. Surely it's evolved since then.

Disagree with you about Norton. Now an excellent piece of software that doesn't hog resources, and is one of the best out there for malware protection.

Fair comment, to be honest my gripe with it these days is its user interface. Although my deep-rooted dislike of Norton will probably never disappear.
macafee is a shill, do not trust, you will never get Ur lambo
Burn it with fire.
Where I work we still use it and we hate it with a passion :-(.
I also had it on a laptop I recently bought, it ran like s***, uninstalled this and put AVG on it and it worked absolutely fine afterwards
How on earth is this getting hot? it should be super sub zero, even if it was free i still would not touch it with a barge pole
bloated/old/slow/useless

Use this, AVG and Norton over the years pretty much all the same slow your system down,

If it’s for a Windows PC then Windows Defender, I don’t get why everyone is so into spending money or using another free alternative. Have always used Windows Defender it has never let me down, apply a little common sense when browsing and you will have nothing to worry about.

At one point Windows Defender was so bad it didn't officially count as a virus checker anymore, also Microsoft advised you to use it in conjunction with another virus checker. That was the past, it's apparently a lot better now.

That being said I can't think why you'd want a replacement for Kaspersky, it's one of the better ones

When I bought my house it came with a lock on the front door, but I bought a better one. I pay for good internet security for the same reason.

Nothing wrong with Malwarebytes. I use the pro version (which I have a lifetime license) along with Windows Defender.

I installed mcaffee big mistake totally screwed up my pc. Ended up having to reformat hard drive and do a complete reinstall. Now OK . Don't touch it even with a barge pole.
I work in it support and we used to be offered these licenses at a £1 each and we only took them up on their offer 1 time.
Learnt our lesson.
Awful software. Doesn't stop malware and creates it's own set of problems.

He shilled TRX (Tronix), I didn't buy any as Binance had airdropped me 500 for free, so I traded them for ETH made a profit then decided to get VEN (Vechain) before the news dropped about the China Tobacco deal. Lovely job.

Try Crystal Security, the site looks cheap as f%^k but it has a good community around the software, oh yeah and it's FREE >

Prevention test and removal test (as a prevention tool it works really well, as a removal tool when you're already infected well there's better alternatives, prevention is better than cure! as the saying goes) >

Kaspersky all day long. The fact it’s constantly denigrated by the Western media must mean it works.

Far from it I’m afraid chap, I have the sense and knowledge to know where to invest my money albeit only £15 it’s still better in my pocket then wasted on a product which is not needed. I’m sorry to hear that you are yet another mindless sheep brainwashed by the industry.

You rely on a free, poorly reviewed Microsoft product to protect you on-line, whilst I invest in an effective, highly-regarded, dedicated solution, yet I'm the brainwashed, mindless sheep? Apart from the fact that it isn't possible to brainwash someone that's mindless, I think I see the flaw in your argument!

Anyway, as you've now shown yourself to be incapable of debate without making inane insults, I shall leave it there and allow you to crawl back under your bridge with the rest of the Hukd trolls.
