crap software in my experience with anti virus software.

I'd recommend microsoft security essentials which is free and runs on very low memory (ifyou have a windows PC)

I don't understand why companies build programs so bulky and irritating to the system, Norton being the biggest criminal of all.

    Hot if you like mcafee.
MaAfee uses hell lot of CPU and too much of RAM for processing and keeps ur laptop/computer on its toes all the time.
but FREE thing is always good... HOT for me despite of the fact that i will stick to my Microsoft Security essential. :-p
norton and mcafee, are these companies responsible for a lot of viruses, its one way to keep yourselves in business
Nice, also to add its the 3-User McAfee Internet Security (Windows) version
Just remember in a year to refer back to this informational video. How To Uninstall McAfee Antivirus

Note: Video is not safe for work.
is it really best to just install Microsoft Security essential then buying into another antivirus software ie norton or mcafee
    Cold from me.
My 15 month "free" subscription with a new Dell pc is about to expire.
I can`t wait to ditch McAfee and put on windows essentials.

Hell no! Avast, AVG... there are plenty of good, solid, free set ups that dont grind your system to a halt!

And with friends like that... You know the rest. Heheh.
This is complete crap. I would better use Microsoft Security Essential or Windows Defender.
First it slows down you PC/Laptop, because about 13 services will be running in background.
It creates all kind of network problems, up to no connection.
Not that easy to remove, even using the official removal tool. You will have to manually remove some of the files and services.
