3.75kg? Think Morrisons have made a typo. - Picture of the product shows 800g on their website.
However, brilliant deal if it's true!!
Cheap as ....... chips? or roasts?

Can't find any mention of that size and have never seen one that big in any store.

i dont think most consumers would go for a packet that big really, tends to be 1kg or less, having said that roasting your own potatoes is the best way to go

You would hope so, but I've experienced some pretty dodgy home cooked roast potatoes.

i think its the variety you use and the prep method , lots of recipes online for that. yeah I know peeling pots is a chore but its worth it, if i lived in countryisde I would get a sack of muddy potatoes from a farmer , way to go
had these last night best frozen roasties I've ever had!
I suppose this is like the 3 for £4 crisps offer or the 2 for £1 Pepsi offer, I'm starting to get a bit suspicious of these so called pricing errors. These are nothing but marketing strategies to draw customers into stores.
It's probably the 800g bags which are a £1 in Asda too
They don't do a 3.5kg bag of these, no way. The biggest bag I've seen in there is a 2.5kg bag of chips.

I wouldn't rule it out but I've never seen anything that size in a supermarket freezer!
Best spuds ever go buy a 25kg brown sack from a farmer, layby trader or farm shop. They'll last months that way & taste & cook better too.

I do my roasties in whatever oil/fat is cheap I tend to stick with oils as slightly better health wise usually light olive oil.
Get roasting dish in with oil & get oven mega hot
Wash & cut potatoes so they're all roughly the same size
Parboil for 8-10 mins depending on potato type & size
Drain spuds & add 2 tablespoons of semolina powder
Put lid on pan & hold in place whilst vigorously shaking to mix semolina in evenly & to give spuds nice rough edges.
Carefully put spuds in hot oil & turn oven down to 220c or so
Set time for 10 mins
Take out turn spuds put back in for 10 mins
Turn spuds again & repeat until cooked

Aim to have spuds ready after you've served everything else up so they don't have a chance to sweat & lose crispiness. That recipe never fails to our turn out perfect super crispy tasty spuds and no they don't taste of semolina.
the mccain roasties are absolutely delicious. Much better than any other frozen ones ive had before.

They are yuck yuck yuck asda own brand are better.
No longer vegetarian as contain beef dripping.
Can't believe this is true.. Will have to see in-store although website does state 3.75kg
It's sucks that they've added dripping to these, no good for us veggies
obviously a mistake, previous Price £3........price for 1.4 kg. Don't think a 3.76 kg would even fit in my freezer.
They are £1 in asda the 800g bags and there's also a coupon for £1 off them stuck on the chickens in asda makes them free
800g bag in tesco £1 get voucher from cash point outside tesco just get a printed balance and voucher is for £2 off (£1 free money )
