Thanks bought this was desperate for a new mower!
Thanks OP.
Bear in mind delivery is only available if it's in-stock in your local store. If it's not, it will change to OOS at checkout when you try and book a delivery day.

It's charging £5 for delivery.
Ordered this over the phone. Free delivery over £75:as long as not next day. You can also use a trade account which gives an additional 10% off
You’ve got to laugh at this listed on the wickes page advertising this....

Pros Cuts ok
Cons
Poor instructions
Will not start after owning 6 months

Thanks just bought. seems to be £150/£200 everywhere else. 4% TCB also.
Thanks I've been looking for a petrol mower for months and this looks perfect!

Was that from the review "Worst Mower I Have Ever Fought" conjures up memories of a naff Mortal Kombat "Fight"!

it is, self propelled would be nice but not a ig issue imo , if you are normally fit / flat garden / not giant garden

Bargain!
Sorry to be an idiot, but how do you get the petrol for these things? Just fill up a tank at any petrol station?

You can fill a petrol can from any petrol station...
Just bought. Been looking for a good mower! Thanks
Bought this model from B&M last September.
Starts first time every time.
Instructions for assembly are quite vague though. Just remember to put the stop handle/bar in the top hole of the main handle or the mower motor will run slow and splutter.
A litre of 4 stroke oil is also needed as its not supplied.

It's not self propelled if that's important to you. That's what I need. Petrol lawnmowers can be quite heavy.

I usually push mine there, fill it up and push it back.
Argos sometimes have a self propelled one with a longer blade for £10 more
Just a word of advice I bought the self propelled one last year and ny garden can get quite wet at times. The mower was fine but very heavy and ripped the garden up when turning it. It had no rear roller which didnt help. Anyway I sold it and bought a battery one which was expensive but works better for me. These mowers are great in the right conditions but no good for me
I've owned this for 1 1/2 seasons and have been very pleased with it. Starts first time and cuts the lawn.. what more do you need.
Bear in mind this is a discontinued model and I doubt anyone ever bought at the original price.
Some may find the own brand 110cc engine a little under powered if cutting long grass.
Changing the cutting height involves adjusting 4 levers which is rather frustrating.
Excellent value for a petrol mower but very basic and only a 12 month guarantee.
B&Q are discounting a lot of their McCulloch and Mac Allister mowers and I think in the
coming weeks there will be more price cuts.

Yes there is a newer model available but Amazon is selling this model for £199.95
hotukdeals.com/com…381

I stand corrected. Obviously people are prepared to pay £199 for this model.
B&Q currently have the 125cc version with Briggs & Stratton engine for £170 online.
They were recently reduced to £40 instore at my local and I expect similar cuts at other
branches as that model has also been discontinued.

Yes it will be garden tool sale soon
I have been seeing a lot of bad reviews about this not sure if I should go for it
I've had a call saying mine has a bolt missing from the handle so they'll do it for £50.

Thanks OP if you hadn’t listed this I wouldn’t of known. 10% discount with trade and 4% TCB winner
Wow .. great price ! I paid £140 for one of these from Wickes two years ago. Mine is still going strong ... starts well, idles well but is not the best petrol mower I've owned for cutting. IMHO the design of the collector box is poor and it easily gets blocked when cutting long grass or damp grass. It takes me twice as long to cut the lawn in these conditions as my last petrol mower. Its quite a narrow mower too for a rotary. However at this price its a real bargain.
utter shite - cancelled my order as they didn't have one local to me
I received mine today 1 shiny curly piece where do I attach it ?
Ok I found where that shiny piece goes. It starts on first pull. Anyone knows if this mover should idle all by it self after it’s started ?
