Morrisons currently have McVities Jaffa cakes on offer at £1.29 for a triple pack, but have a look down the christmas aisle and they have the Jaffa Christmas Present, containing 4 packets, for £1.49, so it works out at less than 38p a packet. Not quite as good as the previous Tesco offer, but a great deal all the same.

lol, don't knock Jaffas as one of your potential xmas pressies! My wife got me a 'Yard of Jaffa Cakes' last year, and it went down a storm with those round visiting in the evening, also comes in very handy for that secret stock of emergency jaffas...

Why do people buy McVitie's jaffa cakes when the Tesco Value ones are so much cheaper and taste the same (some may argue they taste better!)

Something like 38p for 24 jaffa cakes - bargain :-D

And before all you McVities-lovers bash me - do a blind taste test like I have done with so many other non-believers and THEN have your say ;-)

I can see your point about this, when I go over to france, there's a nice brand of Jaffa's they do in their Hypermarkets that have a more instant melt in your mouth feel to it, and also come in other flavours. Personally so long as it tastes ok I don't mind too much what brand it is..

Morrison's value range is 75p for 3 packs (36) but there always seems to be a gap on the shelf where the product is supposed to be. I guess they must be popular.

terrible present....

value ones are nicer and cheaper as said anyway

I have done the taste test and agree, I only have a little tesco's by me thogh and I don't think they sell the 24 pack I wish they did though as I buy mine from Asda's and they only sell I think it's a 12 pack for about 38p hmm not fair
