Excellent price in Costco for £239.98 with 5 years warranty and great reviews. Almost 20% cheaper comparing to other retail giants. Posted it for £299 on JL & Meaco websites.

Platinum range from Meaco and I am currently using from last 4 days.

280W low consumption? Joke

I’m not expert when it comes to low consumption. What is low consumption to you?

160W. 10yrs old and probably isn't same quite and air flow is lower by 100m3/h but paid £60 years ago. Still does the job well.

There are few domestic dehumidifiers around with 25L/day performance in existence, let alone one that will run on 160W. I would imagine yours will be less than 12L per day with that sort of power consumption and consequently nothing remotely like this one. You can still get machines with that sort of performance for under 100 quid, but not anything like the specs of this one.

Need to get a dehumidifier as have 2 kids with cystic fibrosis and any damp at all is bad for them. I have read that you should get ones with hepa filters in, don't suppose you know of any?
Same price as 20L so heat from me

Yep. The 20L does, suppliedwith one free filter.

the above one doesnt need any filter.

Sorry I should have clarified. The 20L doesn’t “need” one either, there’s a washable grille like filter. It was the HEPA filter that you get 1 free, you can use it with, or without. My reply was in reference to the person needing one for their children with cystic fibrosis. Having the choice to use a HEPA filter would probably help
Many comments and votes but no one posted or suggested a better (performance & price) product to the above one.

Saw this in Costco last week and was tempted to buy. How is this compared to Aldi’s which is available for £130 with 3 yr warranty? Thanks
Just got a 21Ltr 265W dehum from Lidl only £119. shifted about 5 Ltr is first 24hour period. 6.5Ltr bottle. No ads on Lidl so check your local branch

280W low consumption? Joke

Its a strong machine, just becasue it states 280W does not mean its using that much all the time, being a strong machine, it will turn off quicker, saving you money vs a lower machine running longer. Ive been doing homework on this and the 12L version and to be fair, although this runs at 4p per kwh it pulls much faster and harder then turns off quicker vs the 12L 2p per kwh running much longer to achieve the same target humidity.
