Martin Lewis is pushing them to dry your clothes for only 6p an hour rather than a tumble dryer that costs £1 a load. But his maths is slightly out because the dehumidifier will only dry your clothes in a heated room so add on the heating costs, and it will still take several hours, plus the cost of the dehumidifier on top. I'm sticking to my tumble dryer that will completely dry a load of washing in 40 minutes.

Back out of stock anywhere near me….but a quick google and a few companies have them for 299.99 with free delivery so they aren’t made of unobtainium, just not sure on the cost to run, my bad math makes it about £3 a day on 24/7 on the current prices, the quoted 4p an hour is at a long forgotten 15p a KWh

Get the desiccants DD8L. A real workhorse that dries easing even in low temperatures

desiccants use more power but useful if temp is below 10 as compression ones dont work well.

I had this ordered for collection at store today and they cancelled my order. So I don’t know if they had stock or was expecting stock which never arrived.
