LOL. I'm only about 200miles off then. Don't think I could have been much wronger They always seem to be next door to a card shop!

have some heat and rep good price

I dont particularly like greggs sandwiches, much prefer boots! But their meal deals £3, imo worth it! especially due to any drink being part of the offer, even those which are around £2!

good price though!

And there always seems to be a bench outside on which you'll find babies/toddlers with a sausage roll in their gobs. Which you can see reflected in the glass on the above photo... ;-)

/me loves Greggs - especially the "egg & bacon" and the "chicken club" sandwiches. Any idea if they're included in the deal? Might not be as they're baguettes - and I think cost more than £2 each.

:oops:I spotted this when i was in greggs and Im sure that it was only "limited" sandwiches, ie the basic ones and only water in the meal deal!

hay!! that reflection is my daughter :-D

and its not a sauage roll its a packet of quavers lol

pretty pour deal really, you've choice of about 4 sarnies (sliced bread only), all extremely basic & below a quid in the supermarkets.

drink option is water, or, water.

they've put this one, in place of the usual meal deal, which was way better, if a tad dearer.

was black??

so what are you now then?, green?

The one in Hertford was Ham & Tomato only, when I looked last week...

i noticed it last week, a deal including a bottle of water...

for me the boots offering is still a winner, although their limited choice of sandwiches is now boring as hell... only one "triple" i like.

im trying to be a "make your own" !, best deal of all

As has been said, Boots does have the edge in the meal deal department as … As has been said, Boots does have the edge in the meal deal department as they include innocent smoothies and their range of sandwich selection and choice of crisps/cakes is well worth the extra £1, IMO.

Don't forget they also sometimes include BOGOF drinks too, like today I got two lucozades + crisps + triple sandwich for £3.49 (last triple sandwich :x)

COLD as drink is WATER ONLY!! there only 38p for a bottle of water in tesco. x

The normal meal deal (drink, crisps and an oval bite) is still on offer, i work in a scotland greggs store and not all sandwiches are included in the £2 deal, from memory there is a choice of four sandwiches, but i can't remember what exactly. The more expensive ones arn't included anyway. And this deal should be nationwide., atleast it is available throughout the whole of scotland, I would assume the rest of the uk aswell.

Damn you! I eat too much greggs as it is...

:-D haha u beat me to it,

not a great deal, very small choice of basic sandwiches and really just water..throw in a cake then maybe.

But yeah as another poster mentioned, boots for £1 more will get u more. Got a chicken/bacon sarnie, yogurt bar (45g) and a large red bull for £3. U can even choose the triple sandwiches if u want. Not a bad deal, but not a great one.

not a bad deal

rather get one of their £2.15 Chicken Club Bagettes and buy water elsewhere. At my workplace, get free filtered water. So aint too bad.

Greggs is the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. Even if they paid you £10 I'd still vote this cold.

if it's meant to be live still, then it should still be advertised / products stickered.

maybe the new one should be a 'snack deal' as 'meal' is stretching it even if you're a Borrower!

It should still be stickered, it is in our shop atleast there is still meal deal stickers on all the drinks and a huge sign up on the wall. If it's not displayed in the shop you went into no doubt the area manager will be on to them next time they visit the store.
