I bought this from Tesco just after christmas for £4.99. I thought it was cheap and now I know why.. all the figures were missing. The box didn't appear to have been opened so I'm wondering if thats why I got it so cheap :x

Excellent ordered thanks, would give u rep op but I got to spread some about first !

Cheers Andy .... nephew's birthday present sorted.
H&R added.

I got one of these for my boy for christmas, think it was about this price too. From a parents point of view, it is damn fiddly to build and one drop on the floor and it all comes apart again. Some of the vehicles pictured in the instructions show a figure "driving" it but when you build the thing you realise the figure does not stay attached and so falls out as soon as it is played with.

It is way lower quality that playmobil or lego. You cannot build a lot of the vehicles at the same time as they all use the same parts. I think maybe 4 at once. It looks better in the pictures than it really is.

have just bought this, but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to cancel my order.
that's the beauty of this site, you can at least get a review on most products before you commit to buy,

They appear to make two different styles. There is this one aimed at younger children and then they also make the traditional style. I bought the later for my 7 year old for Christmas and its just the same as the original although they now use allen keys and not a screwdriver. It's a bit too fiddly for my 7 year old but I had great fun with it.:)

Meccano - for those annoying smart ass kids that don't like Lego

Great find! This deal has been featured in ]Bitterwallet!
