Any idea when it will become free?
nice, thanks
When will it be released?
when will it be on the house
From those days when graphics were okay but storylines were truly engaging. I'm really fed up with silly side quests and finding bits and bobs with which to make, purchase or upgrade weapons, it's been done to death. Gaming needs a fresh idea or to simply revert back to telling a good solid story inside gloriously complex graphics environments.

Agreed. For me, the first time I played Medal of Honour Allied Assault on the PC was a mind-blowing experience. The sound effects, Omaha beach.....wow. And just when you thought that was it........the storyline kicked in. Epic times. Nowadays, the storyline is pretty much neglected and you just shoot your way through the game - emotionless is the only way I can describe it. In Allied Assault, you felt like crying when your comrades were getting killed by the Germans manning the guns in the pillboxes.
I've only played MoH Allied Assault. We used to go in to work on a Saturday to play multiplayer over the LAN... erm... until we got caught...

I'll look forward to trying this. Just hope it doesn't give me motion sickness now.

For single player I had always preferred CoD. Especially in CoD 2 where they recreated the opening scenes of 'Enemy at the Gates'.

It's a nice blast from the past, but let's not kid ourselves: the MoH series was never great. It was EA's cash cow, like CoD today: pumped out every year with a generic story tagged on, and the same terrible AI and gunplay every iteration.

The first CoD was when we finally got a proper "engaging" WW2 shooter, and CoD2 was completely revolutionary. Besides Frontline and Pacific Assault, MoH was teeeeerrrible.

Granted. There were hits and misses with both franchises, their commonality was good story telling. CoD remains my favourite franchise. My wish is merely for developers to stop distracting us with earning kudos by collecting balls of wool so grandma can complete knitting a bazooka or gathering 'erbs with which to knock up a fortifying soup.
Do you have to be signed up for EA/Origin Access to get games "On the House" or is it 100% completely and utterly free ?

With the German fixing the broken wire? Watched that movie recently but haven't played the single player in that game for so long. I loved it so much I completed single player in loads of different ways, like limiting myself to using only sidearm, or bashing, or only enemy weapons etc :P
played nfs most wanted and it's just bad. This should be good.

At last. Someone else who suffers from motion sickness while gaming. For years I've lost out on playing top games because of it. I couldn't even be in the same room when others were playing. And as for trying to read when travelling I am a bus or in a car. Pukesville. Can anyone suggest a cure for this?

There's actually a new device that's being released which helps to combat motion sickness - it's called the Oculus Rift :).

Apparently it's not unknown. For me it started with Half Life 2 (never got to finish the game). HL1 was fine. Even games I'd completed previously like Doom3 now gives me motion sickness after about 30 mins.

Personally I think it's probably sitting too close to a 24" monitor. I never had the problem when I had a 17" LCD. But even now I still want the whole immersive experience. I can finally go back to 10 year old games and turn everything onto max at the highest resolution and running full screen. Just unfortunate that my stomach can't take it.

Honestly I never though it would take this much time for this to actualy go free but hey its EA so I wouldn't be suprised if we had to wait another week or so -.-

Same here. I bought a 58" 4K telly just after Christmas, upgraded my pc to an i7 6700K with 24gb ram, bought an Nvidia Shield Android TV box a few weeks ago and thought I was going to have this amazing gaming experience. Any pc games I play, including on the Shield, leave me queasy after about 20mins max. Even Mario 64 on a N64 emulator, which is one of the worst at about 5mins after starting. But, strangely, the android Brothers in Arms 3 game is fine. I can play it all day with no nasty side effects.

Actually 1 and 2 which were PS1 exclusive were good, never really played past Rising Sun much it was just they peaked too early, I heard European Assault may of been best in series.

I preferred Battlefield games better especially 1942/1943 and 2.

Only thing I disagree with is the graphics were good for the time and still not bad now its just compared to modern games they are "bad" I hate when people talk about "bad" graphics as they say it in the wrong way.

Thanks, finally added to my account. Don't know when I'll get chance to play it, but it's added
Would anyone know, if it's possible to play "invite only" multiplayer battles with this game?
i.e. you can play instead your friends and not the entire world.

Thanks in advance.
Added to my Origin games list thanks. Been playing/replaying some good old FPS single player games over the last few months (Half-life1 & 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, COD1 & 2, Brothers in Arms: RtH 30, F.E.A.R., S.T.A.L.K.E.R SOC) so will probably give this a try out too.
Its available now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! Just saw this in the morning!
