Good price IMO. Better if you have gold as it would work out £18.86 with gold.

Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.

I never have this issue as i only buy the game when i have finished playing my other games, by that point its cheaper to buy anyway as its older. Unless you are after a collectors edition or special limited promotion i cant see much point in pre-ordering as shops dont run out of physical stock generally (Unless its a GTA game) and this would never occur with a digital version. The prospect of a DLC of a different skinned gun is also not a appeal.
This just seems to have been really cheap since pre-orders began, yet looks prety spot on in the trailers etc.

Strange.

It's a 'remaster' of an old game, so is being released at a budget price.
I'd pay a fiver for it tops.

I like showing my support for old games like Crash and Spyro making a comeback. Think it is important to pre-order certain games to ensure there is a chance of them coming back permanently.

I admire you're reason why you do this, but is there any proof that a pre-order actually does that?. I beleive its only used for the shop / supplier to guage numbers so they dont over order on stock (Retailer benefits). Back in the 80's, 90's, 2000's they didnt need this feature to produce a game, maybe for backer focused indie projects perhaps this is valid point. Also HD remakes like film remakes are cheaper to produce as its a proven franchise and fan base with lower costs, risks associated with it.

Activision has hinted at future releases for Crash and Spyro thanks to the success of the recent games. It might be seen as a risk for Sony to bring back a 1998 game like MediEvil and the future of the IP is probably resting on the likes of pre-orders.

Xbox Game Studios have revived Battletoads a game from 1991 and my fear is if people don't show it enough love then the IP will die never to return. Same goes for any future Banjo-Kazooie or Conker's Bad Fur Day

Yes the odd retro enhanced game is welcomed, concerned that developers may end up eventually using this as a cheap cash cow instead of working on new IP's though. Medievil i welcome as i had it on PS1 and could never get past the 1st level as my copy of the game had a defect but i loved the art style. For eg id rather Bethesda concentrate on working on a new Skyrim then all these silly reboots of it in VR and it for the Switch and enhanced editions.

I had Battle toads on the Gameboy, it was a terrible game and very very hard ill pass on that lol.

I think Battletoads has endureed because of the sheer madness of the premise rather than the quality of the game.

As for Medieivil, I do love the original, but I think this remake is going to be pretty niche, especially if they keep the difficulty as hard and unforgiving as it was.
Demo out on the PS4 store now for a short time.
