Not sure I get your drift. I would not be without a 17" laptop. It sits in my kitchen, and I spend most of my time using it. I also have a desktop with a 27" screen, and I have not used it for years. The 17" screen makes such a difference, and until you have tried one you will never understand. The difference over a 15" screen is massive, and if you are not bothered about portability it is the way to go. It is portable though, and I have taken mine on the occasional overnight break.
Nice spec. 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD + FHD + I5-7200U + 8GB Memory + 2 Yr Warranty.
2.7kg wouldn't want to carry it about myself.
No it isn't

Lol... Its ok. I use quite a few of them myself so if it helps people save a penny or two, why not. This ones the best I think: quidco.com/use…57/
I have this on an i5 Asus I got from ebay. It worked gret for xcom 2 last christmas when at my parents or on the train.
nb they play most games 720p not 1080p.
Weight 2.7kg:
yep! this guy plays it 720p
this guy 1080p
cpubenchmark.net/cpu…GHz
4700 passmark
that's similar to my xeon e5620 I am gaming on and which is bottlenecked by my RX470 graphics card at 1080p gaming (i.e. GPU will run 100% but the CPU never does)
17" laptop isnt really portable. I acheive largely the same thing with a 13 inch laptop and a 24 inch HD monitor (30 quid off gumtree), i can plug the laptop into the monitor (or chromecast to it from a tablet)
That way i have a usable laptop and a large screen for when i need to do work (including working from home).
I had a 17" laptop briefly. My boss bought one, gave up on it then took it into the office to replace an old desktop. Doesnt actually fit on my lap and i cant use it on a plane or a train because of the size.
What suits, suits me. What suits you, suits you. All about personal choice.
For me, Medion is better from Acer
Post a better deal then and educate the plebs.
And picking i5 instead of a i7 is the right choice?
There have already been loads in the Computer section. Have you been on another planet for the last few years?
I don't need loads - just give me a link to one.
Just click on the Computers section and scroll backwards. If you're too lazy / stupid to even do that, then you don't deserve anything better.
It's got a 1TB hard drive as well according to the specs in the link. OP probably ought to make mention of this.
