Just reduced to £399 down from £499 and previously £599 instore plus they knock off the VAT difference.
Rang around a few stores and some still have these but they are discontinued so will not be restocking.
I have the skew number and will post it tomorrow as it's at work. Basically you use this number to enable them to search as it doesn't go by the model number.
If you ask about the £399 Medion slim 15.4 " laptop they can find out for you.
Just got one today (typing on it now) and I'm pleased with it for the price.

That's a more than decent deal for the money

I've passed the info on to a friend who is looking for one.

Cheers H&R added

I know it is your first post, but sorry, this "deal" has less information than I would need to buy a newspaper :-(

Laptops are around from about 300 quid upwards, but without a basic list of features and specification, this could be the best or the worst offer in the history of technology, and no web links so we can check ourselves :-(

For those interested, I presume it is the model in these web links:
pocket-lint.co.uk/rev…tml

pcadvisor.co.uk/rev…910

trustedreviews.com/not…/p1

medion.co.uk/s56…tml

If so, it dos look a decent machine at a decent price - although a lot of negative opinions on Medion lurk on this site!

Well, my friend has just managed to track one down and is away to get it, so I'll let you know in due course. I have also advised to take a list of the specs to check in any case, although I can't see it wouldn't be, as the Medion link states 'available from Sainsburys from...' which suggests to me that this is a Sainsburys only spec.

Decent CPU, decent amount of RAM, decent gfx card, large hard drive and 'extras' like webcam, fingerprint security, HDMI and eSATA ports :w00t: What's not to like about this deal? - for the money?

I personally think it's superb value.

Yeh, sorry about lack of info. I assumed because it already has a massive thread on here people would already know about it.
Lesson learnt for next time.
The reviews and specs posted are indeed the right one's. I got this last night and it's lightening quick .
The skew number for Sainsbury's to check stock is 6812202. I think I also got 800 Nectar Points with it!

Bought one today. Excellent Laptop for the money. My wife is very pleased. £390.50 at the checkout.
