Specification wise, this looks to be a really good price for a non import phone. Unusual to see 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM at this price for sure. A budget contender? Certainly looks competitive with the Moto G4 for £30 less. **Update** Someone has bought the phone and posted a quick review, post 90 - Thanks mucker53

Received mine today so here's a quick review.

Overall, very impressed so far. My previous phone was a Sony M4 Aqua which at 8Gb onboard, was quite appalling. After installing everything I had on the M4, I still have 23Gb free on the Medion.

There was quite a bit of bloatware installed and I managed to delete about a dozen or so apps. Some apps still remain that I'm unable to remove but I'm honestly not that bothered, considering the amount of storage I have left. I haven't found a secure method of rooting yet.

The phone is very responsive. I already notice a big difference in performance over my M4 which could be very laggy at times. I'm hoping that the Medion holds out and is able to handle it's memory better. Time will tell.

The screen is very clear and also very responsive. It seems a lot sharper in comparison to the M4 which seems washed out most of the time. Looks to have a screen protector prefitted. Haven't tested the camera yet.

All the apps I've installed so far (Twitter, Ebay, Shpock, Waze,Periscope, Paypal, Snapchat, Evernote, Open Camera) plus a few other have all behaved themselves so far. When all were opened, I still had about 1Gb RAM free.

Size wise, it's almost the same size as the M4, but a bit thicker. It feels plasticky but to be honest, it doesn't bother me as I'll probably bung it in a silicon type case any.

Overall, I'm delighted with it for the money. Better than my previous M4 and better value than anything second hand off fleabay for the same money. This looks like a keeper.....at least until something else on HUKD comes along :-)

Dual SIM phone from a reputable High Street Shop. Great Specs too. Hot from me.

Price elsewhere £125. Hope it is not a misprice, as they are selling lower spec'd E4504 also for £89.99

Can anyone tell me if this phone is compatible with Google Cardboard or has gyroscopic specs? I know the Moto 3rd and 4th gens cant be used for 3D goggles so wondered if this can run it

Nice for the price specs wise, first thing I would do is get rid of McAfee antivirus software and any other bloatware

Moto G4 does have a gyro...

Good specs, but "Dimensions: 144 x 73 x 10 mm" - that's thicker than my 5 year-old Samsung Galaxy Y!

Yeah I can't find any evidence to support this, but it doesn't "look" a centimeter thick in the pics...

The Galaxy Y is 11.5mm thick, so, er, it isn't

Besides, does a couple of mm really make much difference?

It is £30 cheaper than the G4, so you are going to have to accept some compromises. It might be handy if you could make all your comments on one post as well, rather than spamming the thread as your command of written English is not that great so it makes it hard to follow.

MediaTek 1.3 GHz Clearly stated in the specs

Not the best phone in the world, but not the highest price either (_;)

£35 cheaper than elsewhere seems hot to me

only thing is I bet company will fob you off if there was a issue

they should of got rid of 32gb storage and upgraded the camera and made memory 16gb storage

Carphone Warehouse and Medion are both reputable companies.

Again, it is possible to have more than one line of text in a post - do you need some help learning how to use the internet?

carphone warehouse id network lol

I had a contract I cancelled in june and they tried threating me I owed £64 pound so I threat with trading standards and I told them if the account isn't closed by 1st of oct I be taking it to the newspapers and trading standards

I know its a network but if they lie saying they cancelled when they haven't what are they like if you get a fault

because when you cancel they not assed why they just let you go

seems to me they hire people off the street

I mean I can tell you are determined to **** this deal off and that is your prerogative, and I thank you for managing to get all your gripes into one post, however that is the most tenuous of links to be critical regarding this deal. Have you got a hangover or something?

Btw yes it's cheaper than Moto G4 but smaller battery. Not marshmallow. Worse camera. I'd very much doubt that it matches the speed of Moto G4.
G4 is very snappy

Good price for the Medion. Nice storage
First Medion phone from cpw?

Voted hot btw :-)

Mediatek is better suited to low to middle range phones rather than Snapdragon.
You get 80% of Snapdragon performance but for 50% of the price.

Fair enough - I was measuring with a tape measure and must have had the phone at a slight angle. Re-measuring it I would say it is 11mm wide. Still, a modern, high spec phone only 1mm thinner than a 5 year old entry level one???

Can anyone suggest the best phone for up to £120?

last time I got a Chinese phone I couldn't get a signal in the country side and this be a Chinese model

Think the Moto G 3rd Gen 16gb/2gb model is available for £120, would probably be your best bet at that price.

Not sure about the specs. The CPU might be an Intel, which causes all kinds of compatibility issues (or it is a Mediatek, which will never see an upgrade). And Android 5.0 is 3 versions out of date and full of security holes. It is quite amazing that a reputable shop is selling something as obsolete as this as new.

A bit on the ugly side. Looks like those Huaweis from 2-3 years ago

i highly recommend the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro.

but you will need to import it and hard to get warranty support.

hands down best phone for sub £120. you get 3gb ram 32gb memory and a snapdragon processor and. 4000mah battery, sd slot, dual Sim and fantastic build quality!

that's my recommendation

No, just cheaper and an alternative for <£90. £30 on top gets you quite a lot more. The Redmi Note mentioned above is a great phone for that money but there are risks from importing and not sure it supports all UK LTE bands?

It seems that Lenovo own Medion these days! Seeing as they own Motorola too I would guess they are probably coming out of the same factory.

had a note 3 pro and signal is no go in country side so if you plan to go out of the home town don't get chinese

any phone such as Samsung , Motorola always get a signal in the country but I tried wileyfox and Redmi no signal at all good job I didn't break down at the time I needed to use the phone
