I swear prices seem to be going up not down. I paid £750 for a 1060 Erazer laptop about 2 years ago

looks like the medion one has double the graphics memory, 4gb instead of 2gb, which is definitely a good thing
Agree this should be lower. I picked up a Medion X-6603 with a 4GB 1050 Ti from Argos for £719 in January 2018.

Of course, because of the unmentionable B-word, the £ has tanked (& will tank further still!), so anything imported will inevitably cost more. Sooner we dump this abomination of a policy & go back to the way things were, the better.

8gb ram for a gaming laptop? :/

What's wrong with that? 8gb is just about right for gaming. You only need more if your editing videos

I am not a gamer so not sure however I develop apps and 8 certainly need much more ram. So based my understanding around it but I might be wrong.

8gb is more than optimal for gaming
I'm not a developer but I hear that Dev rigs of Ps4, Xbox etc always have more ram for developing purposes.
Is this the same one at cost co? 2 yr warranty too I believe.

No SSD on this one so I'd say avoid.

Having moved from a laptop with just a single, big HDD to one with a small (128GB) SSD & a big HDD, I now couldn't go back. Boot ups are now instant as opposed to a slow crawl.

8gb ram for a gaming laptop?

It's ok, for rest of the spec in this laptop. It's for medium setting gaming
Been trying to find the full specs. Does anyone know if this has a back lit keyboard? Also managed to find a site which said the battery life was 4.4 hours, seems very low.
