    Weird brand
they are just a rebrand of Clevo chasis laptops, PCspecialists same.. i've had quite o few o them no issues there and cooling was far better than other very known brands like acer

Looks like a great deal! Would defo bite it, but have bought other brand already.

Btw, 4kg weight is impressive (edited)
another typo/error... not surprised as its currys, must be total for box and the contents in it. on another site it says 2kg (edited)

Medion are good. I bought a 17 inch gaming laptop with 3070 and it came with 3 years warranty out the box. Got 3 dead pixels though and laptops direct only replace laptops with 5 or more dead pixels, so i was happy i had the warranty from Medion to back it up! There were no problems with the device, it was a 135 watt card and yes, the fans do get loud but not horrendously and like stated above, its to be expected with a performance machine. If you dont do your homework, like the second comment, and go for a lower spec medion, yes they aren't great. But this deal seems good, if it comes with their usual 3 years warranty, but i have never seen a medion at currys before, so dont know if it will still be honoured - just checked and its 2 years. Heat.

The Medion Erazer Major X10 is more or less the same as the P10 Specialist except that it has DDR5 & the Intel Arc A730M GPU.

    Here's a detailed review of the X10...

The way I read it, there's a lot going for this laptop. The screen especially sounds a peach, the WiFi is good & the SSD is v fast.

I'm something of a rare beast in that I'm a big fan of Medion laptops & have bought four of them since 2009. It's clear Lenovo now own Medion as there's a lot of commonality between the two brands.

Under normal circumstances I might be very tempted by the P10 but it's impossible to justify while my 2020 Legion 5i, with its Nvidia 2060, continues to do everything I ask of it.

    Voted hot...

I ordered one which arrived today. Curry’s could learn a bit about shipping, like putting it in another box rather than just shipping in the Medion box with labels stuck all over it…makes a lovely looking gift!
Lucky you. If possible do a review, pics and stuff.

This laptop or is it worth spending an extra £600 on this one? hotukdeals.com/dea…597 (edited)

Am I correct in thinking PSU can impact graphic card ability? If so, how do I confirm that this laptop is maximising graphics card?

Link states 512gb SSD not 1 TB as shown above
I see it now too, says 512gb ssd on product information but the rest of the descriptions states its 1tb ssd including in the title

I have added few pictures and high lighted them in red(512gb) and green(1tb)

From all specs what I see only battery life is not so good, not sure if there is a mux switch

The code doesn't work with this laptop but even if the code worked it would give free next day delivery not reduce the price
interesting when i add another brand laptop its takes off £10(£5 each laptop) with code but when i do the medion alone it wont work

code normally applys free delivery and extra £5 off (edited)

I ain't a window shopping anorak who clicks to view more costly gear only to make pleb comments or get get resentful and vote cold 'cos I can't afford the deal anyway...

Neither does my ego or todger swell by going on about any little negative simply to dis' the deal or comparing it to what my dad's best mate's neighbour's work colleague got last month for a fiver less or 1Gb ram more... Blah blah blah

I will just give credit where its due here and give this deal some heat 🔥🔥🔥

    Good Deal!

    Thanks Op (edited)
You forgot to mention the plebs that post comments like "Why not spend £500 more and get X model instead"

    4kg Jesus!
It can't be that heavy surely? What a tank

Decent specs & screen for the price.
Screen resolution is listed as 2880x1440 on other websites that sell the laptop, yet medion themselves list the P10 Specialist as having a 2560x1600 screen
RTX 3060 version is 80W GPU with 35W boost for 115W total according to Overclockers/ebuyer

OOS at Currys now, still in stock at Amazon for same price. (edited)

WOW..... This deal was £899 (and I COULD have ordered one had I known more about it at the time)
I've been watching Currys page for it to come back into stock and it just had today.
    Not £899 but £1449
    A £550 increase !
