Out of stock. Page gone.

Seems they are discontinuing older gaming laptops. This is a great deal. Extra year warranty to vs other sites.

Fair enough other ppl need to expire that deal.

32GB absolutely useless for gaming, good for Photoshop etc though.

I'm waiting for the haters to come in and start moaning.

'Oh, I can build a desktop that'll kick the **** of this for XX. Why would you want a laptop? Oh, this'll get so hot...'

Heat added, this is a very good deal.

Technically, if you want something portable then I think this is pretty hot.
But if you're serious about gaming/ don't mind sacrifising the portabitility, gaming PC is way better

Or absolutely perfect for running lots of VM's. Thanks OP.

Big money for a Medion laptop, you could buy a Macbook or Dell XPS13 at that price.

Oh yeah, for sure' however if you're like me, I work from home, visit (sometimes) developer clients, play games on the move and the like. A powerful gaming laptop's ideal, it allows me to do all of my usual office chores and play the really early builds I get given by clients to mooch over - which are generally incredibly inefficient in terms of optimisation:)

Not a chance, or the CPU, RAM or HDD size.:)

Kind wish I had the money for these deals... I mean the money without going into debt I mean.

Which is why I used the abbreviation etc, so we wouldn't have this conversation.

I have seen your posts before. You are very pedantic. And didn't disappoint this time.

Great spec but lot of bad reviews out there for Medion regarding build quality and poor customer service

Mine lasted about 8 months, but that was about 5 years ago, maybe things have improved

Another one where the pictures show a strange keyboard - look above the 3 key; that isn't a £ symbol !

Didn't the German words on the numpad keys give you a clue?

Don't do it people?, this will 'ERASE' your brain cells ..... hehehe. :-)

Didn't notice that! D'oh!

So do you get a German keyboard if you purchase in the UK or do they ship a UK version?

Careful, the long description says 3GB graphics not the 4 listed in the spec.

Just a quick note for those who see the word Medion and instantly think Aldi / Liddle cheap pos. This is not the case here. This is actually an MSI barebones gaming laptop that has been re-branded as a Medion. Think of it as a a Skoda to a VW, its the same thing underneath but a fraction of the price.

I'm to the point, no messing. Also quite helpful when I put my mind to it.

Anyway there's not really a debate here, my comment was 32GB isn't useful for gaming, this laptop is quite obviously aimed at gaming so I don't think I was being a pendant, I could argue you were in your reply. If you don't like my posts that's none of my business, I suggest you just ignore me if you don't like what I say. I also apologise when I'm wrong, so no apology required here.

Is it worth the extra £100 for the 980m and less ram by 16GB?

Very nice specs , good find .

Oh, very nice. Did someone say there's an extra £10 off for new customers? If so, how do you get it? A code?

any good for photo and video editing

If you want the extra gaming grunt yes. 16gb vs 32gb you won't notice generally unless running lots of VMs or doing render work.

fishmaster

I must be well behind the times. I thought 32gb was a colossal amount of RAM.

This laptop weighs 4kg!!

Bricktop might be a better name for it....

BigOrkWaaagh

Blinding spec for the price. Heat!

It doesn't have an IPS panel, so hardly 'blinding spec'. 32gb RAM is also pretty redundant. They should have saved the money spent on RAM and provided a better panel instead.

My hardback Oxford English Dictionary is also thinner than this Medion!

In comparison, look at the Origin Evo15-S - 1.9kg yet i7-6700HQ, GTX 970M, IPS, M2 SATA, 4k screen options etc
