Possible Mis-Price?

The same laptop is also listed on Argos for £1149.99

At £850 seems like a great deal for a GTX1060 laptop.

Seems to be out of stock?

Been reading comments on here saying Medion is a nightmare.

Good price but probably not a mistake, only a last gen i5 laptop processor which isn't very useful nowadays

£899 ob box.co.uk. Price seems genuine.

Is this any good? I5 with 8gb ram seems low yet it has a 1060?

Price seems to be correct but oos

Price is genuine , as it's in stock online on their website for £50 more.

Good for 1080 gaming but returned mine as no good for vr

This laptop is posted often, and is the price it usually goes down to. Stock is patchy though.

Why would you do that, this spec is adequate for VR?

it throttles after an hour of play unfortunately and i tried everything feel its the processor that lets it down will stick with pc now and use my overclocked i5 2500k at 4.7 . Also the one i had decided to drop bluetooth drivers and audio as well which only was solved by restoring to stock and then just cut out now and then.

I thought that too when i purchased it but after an hour of robo recall on the rift it stutters and is unplayable. Some less intensive titles like dreamdeck / google earth etc are fine tho so depends on what you will play on it VR wise. After doing some more reading however many other gaming laptops suffer from this as well and the only way to try and fix it is to either get a really good cooling pad to place laptop on or the extreme is to take laptop apart and re do the paste on processor and gpu

We bought a Medion laptop, admittedly a much cheaper model, last year. It went wrong almost immediately (wouldn't turn on) so I googled and it was a recognised fault that needed fixing by Medion. The UK helpline was great, very understanding and efficient, but fixing it meant sending it to Germany (at Medion's expense of course). The tracking on the return/repair was good and efficient, but when the laptop came back it would turn on but had a NEW fault. Contacted them again, returned again with same good service, but when it came back the second time the fault hadn't been fixed. Frustrating to say the least and in the end I found a work-around which meant that we could use the laptop without having to send it back a third time.

Out of stock everywhere in the country, needs to be expired

Have you tried a different virus checker? By default this comes with McAfee which kills performance.
I tried playing GTA V with and without it on this laptop, night and day

Right, you very well know what you are talking about to comment. 14% tops in performance difference is not useful nowadays... lol

I'm still rocking i3 laptop as a computer science student.

Spec is very good and of this was a more established brand I would have bought it but the brand worries me about build quality.

What experience do people have with them?

I Have this exact Laptop, Paid £900 for it a few months ago and i'm not looking back i think it is excellent value for the money and havent seen anything for better value since, the one thing i did do though was upgrade the RAM to 16GB as 8GB isnt enough for me.

Thanks

I meant in regards to gaming - I still stand by my point that it'll bottleneck. Even my i7-6700HQ bottlenecks so there's absolutely no way that this CPU won't do the same.

Good spec for a good price
