Seems like a good deal though not sure Notebook is a good description.

Wasn't this £850 in argos a few days back..?

The website description is not right tbh. I owned one of these and sent it back as its only good for 1 hour of VR and then it throttles and the games are unplayable (Robo recall / superhot), Non intensive VR it works well though. Also it just cuts out at random points although i might have received a faulty unit but thought i would give my 2 cents on it. Also for non VR this is actually great had GTA V running with no issues for over 4 hours but i brought it originally to play VR in living room as moving pc all the time was a pain in the ass

Not really, it's on the website but out of stock everywhere in the country

The cheapest 1060 laptop on the market right now.

Standard spec for 1080p gaming

How would it be for emulators like dolphin and PS2? And modern non-VR games? My toaster pc is from 2009 and I need an upgrade

If you had to choose between this or this: https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-16J942-011-MSI-GP62-7RD(Leopard)-011UK_2078098.html

What would you go for?

My use is a mix of gaming and video editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects, so that's pushing me towards the MSi, due to the RAM being 16GB and the CPU being better. But the advantages of that 6GB VRAM and generally superior GPU has me stuck on which one to go for.

Should easily do both tbh

That's the perfect spec for a £900 gaming laptop. Forget VR on this. You will need a high end graphics card for that. This is great for 1080 gaming.

Voted cold!

My son bought one directly from medion with the i7 processor, it worked perfectly for a day expect the screen was knackered (lots of dead pixels). We sent it back and fucking Medion refused to repair/ exchange it then refused to give a refund as well. Shit company wouldn't buy from them again. Luckily we paid by PayPal and after2 months we finally got our money back
