I thought it was pretty good for the price, but I might be out of the loop a bit. What can you get that's better for the money? That's a genuine question by the way.

I think you're right, it does seem a decent price for the overall spec. I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon with a better deal for that spec
Seems good. Are these laptops easy to upgrade in terms of SSD (is it sata?) and ram etc. Not sure dvd is required anymore
This looks pretty good too. Similar specs but an HQ processor.

and 4GB of VRAM on the GTX 950M
It's a good spec, my problem is what happens if it goes wrong! I bought my grandson a Medion laptop for Christmas, he only used it for a few days and the SSD packed up. because I ordered it on 30th November they insisted it was too long ago to be replaced or refunded and insisted it had to go back to Germany to be assessed, where it still is!

I find it difficult to contact Medion they suggest emailing is best but when you try they present you with an online form to fill in endless details but when I did all I got was an email saying they don't deal with emails but to use their online form!

Eventually they agreed to collect it for return, we stayed in all day and they failed to turn up, when I complained they were quite unconcerned and asked if I would like them to arrange another collection!

I tried rejecting the laptop and asked for a new one or a refund mentioning the sales of goods and new consumer rights act but again was refused. If it does not get rectified soon I am sure I can demand a section 75 refund from my Credit card company.

I have no complaints about the quality of Medion products just their after sales service.
