Full HD screen too, so a very good deal IMO.

Heat added, this is a pretty good deal for Full HD, a modern i5 processor and decent other specs. Made even sweeter with the 825M which is good for light gaming duties and ideal for those people here who constantly harp on about Fifa and football manager games.

Gauge of graphics performance to expect from this

How about minecraft?

soo tempted!!

"Great deal, but low stock I think"

Mmm considering you post a Medion deal every couple of days and hve done for months, I'd assume you work at Medion and know exactly how much stock is available?

The specs seem great but when you Google for reviews of Medion laptops, everyone seems to say the say thing. They breakdown after a month and you have to send them off for a repair, often not coming back for 1-2 months.

I know someone is going to post "but they're owned by Lenovo now, they're different", well the reviews say otherwise.

Steer clear of this.

Dude, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's not been my experience. I bought a couple of laptops from them and I've been really pleased. I don't just post Medion deals: I post deals that are good value and Medion has a lot of good deals.

Fair enough. It's not my opinion though. It's the opinion of Amazon reviewers, tech blogs etc. So for anyone considering buying a Medion laptop, just check Google and Amazon first and decide if you're willing to take the chance.

I've taken the plunge and gone for it. Not sure on battery life (doubt it will be great) but it's £400 cheaper than the Lenovo laptop my son wants for Uni so he can test it out over the summer. OP thanks for posting

You'll find that for every brand of computer manufacturer that exists. Have you ever tried dealing with Dell? I have. People don't refer to their experiences as "Dell Hell" for nothing.

link not working

great deal though!

Another crappy non-existent Medion deal.

A lot of shabby sales practices from that company.

Think you need to give their website a miss for a while OP.

Seems good for the price but I personally would spend a little more on something else only down to my own experience. I bought a medion once about a year ago and it never worked, took me a few weeks to get my money back as well.

So good specs but questionable quality from my own experience

Can someone please post an honest opinion on this lappy and this company? Lots of "this company is shabby and no good" comments....does this come from personal experiance? Is there a reason this laptop is "no Good" as the specs look good for the price....what reason shouldnt i buy it? Thanks all

Excellent Deal for the price

Good deal for the price but it's now expired.

Those of you saying it's a non existent deal, no it's not, you were just too slow! And yes, they have an icon to say "low stock," you don't need to be a Medion employee (or genius) to figure out that if it says "low stock," then they have low stock, lol...

Go to Amazon and type in: Medion Laptop

Then read the reviews of verified purchasers. It doesn't seem to matter which Medion laptop you look at, the reviewers nearly all say the same thing. The specs are good but it breaks after a short time.

How is it a good deal exactly? You'd be silly to pay £349 for one of these when that i7/1080p HP Envy is available for the same price.

As for Medion, they do this all the time - post crappy deals with very limited stock to try and entice people who have missed out to buy something else. That dodgy sales practice is as shabby as the build quality of their laptops X)

I just went through looking at your submission/comment history on hotukdeals. Then the same for other users who posted positive comments in Medion links.

It's interesting how many new users there have been over the last few months that post positive comments and deals almost exclusively Medion/Lenovo related.

Considering the poor reviews on Amazon, the low prices to sucker buyers in and the potential gaming of hotukdeals, this should probably be investigated by admins.

Where exactly is the i7 HP envy laptop on this site for 349 with the i7?

The HP envy that is currently hot is 549 - 100 which totals 449 for the laptop.

Benchmark scores are better for the hp deals from currys on the 199sa HP. Now back in stock at £299 for refurb. I think this is the better deal.

Looks good, I am just missing a touch screen. Windows 8 and 10 are much nicer to use if you have one.

Actually, that's a wee bit exaggerated. Most of them are unrated. There's a netbook that didn't get great reviews, but you can't judge a company on one product. As I say, I've got two of their recently introduced laptops and I'm really happy with what I got for the money. As far as I can tell Lenovo has been a good influence. I can only go by experience. You're basing your opinion on not very much, least of all experience. Things do change. Last year's Skoda can become this year's rebadged VW.

The HP is a refurb and has a poor screen. The Medion is brand new and full HD the Medion is the better deal IMO.

Does anyone know if the reviews on Ekomi are reliable? They rate Medion quite highly (although, I've never heard of Ekomi or seen anyother company use it).

I bought a different Medion (S6415T) from another heathergreen1 deal. Like the Lenovo Flex on which it is based, it doesn't work with particular SSD brands (Intel and Crucial). It took me a while to discover that issue....and as part of my problem solving, I called up Medion. There was no wait, and I spoke to a German guy who works in their quality assurance department, and who has direct access to the engineers that fix things.
He said he would call back with advice within 2 hours. He did just that. He also said that they would be happy to provide a full refund given the SSD drive issue (since resolved by using a Samsung 850 Evo).

In short, their customer service has been excellent thus far -- and the laptop itself is fantastic (Full HD touchscreen for £206 delivered ). Also, when I took it apart, it was full of Lenovo components, and is powered by a Lenovo charger. So I am personally quite confident that it will be reliable.

I'd be more inclined to trust Amazon verified purchases than anonymous review sites. Here's a few links:

amazon.co.uk/MED…44/
amazon.co.uk/Med…B8/
amazon.co.uk/Pen…0E/
amazon.co.uk/pro…T2/

I agree this is a better deal than the HP because it's at least £100 cheaper, possibly £200 if the cashback doesn't come through on the HP. Also I don't think most users need an i7, an i5 is a good enough processor for the vast majority. Both have a hybrid HDD which is a nice touch. Great deal for £349.

You need to pay heed to the age of the reviews as opposed to just the overall rating...

The bad reviews for the P7621 were from 2012
The E5211 was on sale in 2010!!
The E1317 has an anaemic AMD processor (awfully slow)...and is not representative of higher end laptops.

Medion are essentially a new company now Lenovo own them. The laptop I bought for example is effectively the same (inside and out) as the Lenovo Flex!
So how about finding some modern reviews rather than just relying on older reviews that are simply not representative of the company in its current form?

Aldi sell Medion so they must be good I've never owned a Medion myself so can't comment on build quality - the reviews facb0ck posted of selected Medion laptops on Amazon would concern me. The spec is great for £349, however. Moot point as the laptop has sold out.

The OP has posted many deals including laptops by other manufacturers so I see no reason to suspect her motives.

Just ignore them. These deals wouldn't gain heat if people thought they were bad!
People just need to start applying their own brand loyalty to that which you are expressing by posting Medion deals.
As an example, I personally own and use Windows Phones - and have posted various related phone deals. I'm sure people could interpret that as me being a Microsoft employee...however, I'm not! I, like you, just enjoy sharing deals that to me represent excellent value for money. I certainly consider Medion to be just such a brand.

So yes, keep on posting these deals, and ignore the plonkers that are out there.

I completely agree with you and really couldn't have put it any better than that. The most appalling customer service experience I've ever had was from Vodafone and I probably won't go near them for quite some time. That doesn't mean however that I won't consider buying something from them in the future as and when they pull their socks up.
