Over priced chocolate made to look bigger than it is by cutting down trees and making masses of cardboard

Tesco may call it an Easter egg but nestle don't, they just call them …Tesco may call it an Easter egg but nestle don't, they just call them chocolate eggs due to political correctness their for I'm out, I will buy Easter eggs called Easter eggs

You people are hilarious. You actually go out of your way to be offended...
They had them for 75p a week ago. Works out the same. Just play on words making people spend more! Clever marketing!

I like Easter Eggs... or pre-Easter Easter Eggs. Coz I like choc-lick. Never normally get to buy (and scoff) large amounts of chocolate, so this sort of thing pleases me.

Rest of the year I mutter at the price of a KitKat or a Mars and walk away feeling sad (and cheap... which I am)

Easter is 6 weeks away...
Good Deal - Heat added

These eggs are only a £1 elsewhere, so realistically you only get one is free

No they are the exact same ones. Not all were on sale for 75p though. If you click on the offer I think it was only the top 4 from their list.
Does this include the Cadburys ones too?

That was the small eggs (regular price £1.50-2.00), I picked some up myself but might try for some of these too
You can order today for delivery tomorrow at the offer price in case anyone's interested.
If I was to buy all my Easter eggs now, by Easter I'd be 14 eggs fatter and back in Tesco!
better not get to hot chocolate will melt sorry
I seen this in Tesco the other day. I'm going to stay away from them this year...several brands have decided to take "Easter Egg" off the box. What is wrong with calling it Easter egg?
I'd rather give the brand's that aren't scared to continue calling this an Easter egg as we continue to go further and further into political correct madness.

These are the same ones. I also bought a few last week. Click on the link. It will tell you individually they are £1.50 each. The top 4 went down to 75pence. Now you if you get 4 of them it will cost £3 in total which ends up being 75p each again.
Nobody has taken the word Easter from their eggs. Unless anyone can find a picture of an egg with Easter on the front from years ago, that does not have it written on now

The problem with chocolate being labelled 'easter' is that it is just an excuse to hike the price up. Same with Christmas, Valentine, Father/Mother's Day etc.

You said they removed the word Easter from their eggs. They haven't. See the pic I posted of a Smartie egg from the 70's that does not have Easter written on it.

Yes, they still sell these now. Easter has not been removed. You can buy these from their site now

It's just my opinion...and I don't think I'd be alone in wondering why can't it continue to be labelled as an Easter egg? What do these companies worry about? That's all - not really looking for hassle just that for me I'd like to respond to their advertising by saying that for me I'll go elsewhere

They brought them back after removing them and deciding it was a bad idea
Did you not see the word Easter on the box above compared to the one you posted?

It's not about Easter either. It's about people getting upset about imaginary 'insults'. Who cares if Easter eggs say Easter or not? It's not like they have any genuine religious connections. Do Tesco give their profits from them to the church? This is a lot of nonsense. They are just another product.

I just find it strange that people find it hard to take on board others opinions. You're right, I'd think they don't give their profits to a church but for me I think there's an importance in recognising the reason for them being there. It's not an imaginary insult, to be honest I'm not insulted it's just for me I'd prefer to buy one with Easter on it. If I want to buy a car with a CD player it doesn't mean cars without CD players insult me...it just means I won't buy it. No insult, just I'd prefer to buy a brand that's not sheepish over their products

I never buy nestle anyway, after their ceo told the world that drinkingwater should not be a human right.

Fair enough, but you're comparing different things there. I'm not talking about the composition of the product, just its name. A correct comparison would be for you to be refusing to buy a car just because its name may or may not have changed.
