£12 at M&S - for one tier

This classically elegant cake, covered with marzipan and soft icing and decorated with simple piping, can be ready for collection in just 7 days.

Individual fruit and all-butter sponge tiers are sold separately so you can tailor the cake size to match your requirements. Tiers come in 3 sizes so you can mix and match or even opt for just one tier for an intimate wedding

Each tier comes on its own cakeboard

This is no the 3 tiers or fruit only sponge and the medium tier which is the top one.

From £12.00 - £55.00

Nice cake - These were the cakes I got for my wedding a few years ago.

Seriously ??? you get what you pay for!!! these cakes are awful. Very shallow, always wonky, you would never be able to stack them, very badly covered (iced) and doesn't included any decoration

You must have gotten a bad batch??

I had a two tier and was perfect for our budget. When compared to the local cake shop and a few others when we checked them out these were great and cost 3-4 times less.

We've seen plenty of 'bad batches' too of M&S Wedding Cakes, particular complaint is the actual sponge cake, it's taste and appearance after cutting, they are cheaper options for a reason :-(

I think these are great!

A friend of ours has a two tier one from M&S along side a chocolate covered strawberry tower... the cake was for the kids and the obligatory cake cutting photos but the adults got the strawberrys which were lush.

Never really saw the point in spending a huge amount on a wedding cake... if you can decorate it to how you want.. this is a bargain!
