This has been posted many times I know but can't see it being posted recently and could help people out. I have bought travel insurance for just myself, UK only for christmas day for £1.01 and my Meerkat account has been activated straight away. Want to see new Fantastic Beasts lol! It now includes meerkat meals but never tested that one out yet. Not planning to leave the house on christmas day but you never know what could happen!!

ERV has just got a minor windfall for nothing, and became the biggest provider of personal travel insurance in the country...
Yep I just went on to compare the market website, put in single trip travel insurance for just myself UK only and for 1 day only, 25th december. Got policy with ERV for £1.01. Download the meerkat app, register and put in the policy details. Mine got accepted straight away. Like I said this has been posted before but not for a while and such a big saving over the year its worth a reminder.
I did similar but was £1.34 as i went for premium cover on my imaginary trip

I’ve bought travel insurance many times for here and have not once been given these offers. How do I get it?

Awkward question, considering the price is a bargain, but is this for one person only. Thinking to take the kids and wife to the movie. I know I am asking for too much:)!
Bring back the toys!
Heat give though :-)

Same one I got, same price, for a day trip from Edinburgh to Glasgow a few weeks ago. Simples.

It's buy one ticket and get one free but the meals can be up to 6 persons. Your wife also will have to get one to take the kiddies to the pics.

Probably best to do one each if there are 4 of you unless you ask a friend each time for a code, you only get 1cinema code per week
Sorted, that's a year of 2 for 1
You're welcome holdol
Thank you!

get your wife to sign up as well separately and you can get one free and your wife can get one free im not sure if it works out cheaper for you to buy one child and have the adult as the free or if its allowed or you can buy one child and have one child free and your wife buys one adult and gets an adult free.

also if you have a cineworld card tyou can take advantage of the free ticket and all it costs is the 70p booking fee ( why they need a fee when you do all the work is beyond me)
Can you combine this with Super Tuesdays?and get tickets for 4.99 at Vue?

You certainly can, I've used them several times at my local Vue and gained two tickets for £4.99
Cinema offer is great, don't rate the Meals offer thou, difficult to find specific T&Cs about what it applies to and when, and the restaurants themselves seem equally confused with this offer
I did this when my Meerkat Movies expired at the end of last month. Just selected a date for one day in London and it cost me the same. My meerkat movies was activated straight away
Already got this from posted last time. £1 for a full year of 2 for 1 movies. (Not bothered about food) pays for itself on the 1st visit.

Usually give the weeklycodes away
I did similar but was £1.34 as i went for premium cover on my imaginary trip
Just treated myself to 4 days of insurance as we're off to Edinburgh for the weekend, for the princely sum of £2.64, that's another year's worth of codes sorted. We're very regular cinema goers so certainly get our money's worth!

Cheers for the reminder OP - heat added.
What participating restaurants are in the 2 for 1 deal? Is it fairly limited?
Sorry for being such a moron, but you literally only have to buy one days travel insurance to qualify for 2 for 1? So essentially you are buying 2-1 vouchers for £1 a year?
Thanks, first time I got round to doing this.

And a tip I had to pass on to my Dad...He set up one day travel insurance and couldnt work out why his policy was about £8...Turns out he was using his real age. Told him to enter his age as 21, its not as if he was going to claim on the policy is it ??!

Don't forget the offer is on "qualifying products" and not all day everyday at all Restaurants . That is where I have found the issue with this deal. Difficult to work out exactly what it applies to,
During the school holidays we took advantage of the Meerkat cinema deal and then went into Frankie and Bennys for lunch, Meerkats meals state that the offer is valid in F&Bs for breakfast, lunch & dinner, however when we came to pay we were told it does not apply to the lunch menus ( the only ones given to us), it only applies to the main menu. They seemed as confused as us about the offer and fair play to them deducted 30% from our entire bill anyway. So pretty much pot luck what it actually applies to.

I've used it at Pizza Express and Ed's Easy Diner but the app lists Pizza Hut, Zizzi, Frankie & Benny's, Bella Italia, Chiquito (and a bunch of other local ones). It excludes Friday/Saturday.

I just had a look in Edinburgh and it's 95% chain places (Pizza Hut/Express/Etc, F&B etc) which I would never use. Loads of excellent independents in Edinburgh, no need for dull chain stuff. I did get a half decent F&B's once. But next two or three times I tried them, they were awful. Bland and greasy.

Deal is good on the Cinema side though. And on the food side if you like pizza or have kids I guess. Not surprising really. Good independents are seldom included in offers like this. They can't afford to be!

Need to have a look at the GoCompare one. See if the restaurant offer is any better.

It is valid for all three, the cheapest of each course is free. So basically 241 across all meals, the same as tastecard, it’s them who offer it after all...

It's BOGOF so for two, but You could buy two policies for another one using your partner's name and email. The Odeon isense cinema is a fantastic venue. Huge , soft reclining seats, huge 4k screen and sound you can feel!

I did it not long ago. In bonus with cineworld unlimited as they stack. Me and gf go cinema once a week for £18 a month now. (excluding price of tango ice blasts), super easy to apply no problems.

Only tried frankies and bennys so far from the meerkat and meals and it was terrible. But super easy to apply
Can I see two different movies for the price of one?!?! :/

You forget, their Meerkat meals has been going for only 5 minute's in comparison to their Meerkat movies thing, so what do you expect?, lol.

A bit like TasteCard (and such like too, etc?), I suppose?.

Eg. Give it a wee bit of time to 'mature' too ... :-D

Gooooood question that, I wouldn't mind knowing that too?, lol.
I always wanted this, and have used what you've posted, I've never seen this idea before (and feel stupid for not knowing)

So thanks for this
