Costing me a fortune.............................ordered,thanks.

Its this price in Home Bargains as well if you have one near you

These are great, got one for my 4yo from Tesco 9 months ago (HUKD £19.99). The noise/music can be turned down thankfully. I find the bearings can stick at the magnetic 'tightrope' though tinkering is part of the fun for me, I mean my daughter. :whistling: Heat from me.

argh i vowed no more presents for my fella after the PS3, but I had an Amazon voucher and couldn't resist this.

Doesn't anyone know what kind/how many batteries it takes so I can stock up for Xmas Day?

Just Ordered One Looks Like Good Fun

It takes 4 C cells.

can you believe these are over £100 at Hamleys and when they first came out they were that price at Argos, I tried selling ours but am still stuck with it, you need quite a bit of room if you want to keep it out.

oh my god did none of you catch the programme on deadly xmas prezzys last year these magnet toys r lethal 2 kids
the magnets can fall out and be eaten or any small parts with them can be swallowed and then can attact to each other inside the child and because they are mega strong magnets they rip through anything in their way and they showed scans of kids insides that this had happened to and said the only injury that was similar to was a gun shot

my advice is to steer well clear:?

Do you have any knives in your house?! It's a very valid warning, but I'd hope that most 6-yr-olds would have the sense not to swallow magnets in the same way as they wouldn't stick a knife in their stomach, or wrap their belt round their neck, or drink from a bottle of bleach...

It is worth thinking about though if you've got a passel of toddlers eating anything they find on the floor.

Excellent - ordered 1 - thanks.

yes but unfortunately things like that do happen otherwise they wouldnt of been able to do things like scans and tests etc would they and how many times has any1 had to tell a chid of even above 6 not 2 put something in their mouth, and then there are younger sibblings and pets who may not have the common sence

and yes i do have knives in my house and bleach but neither are within reach of my kids

Thanks, much as I hate things like this with loads of bits, I know the boys will love it from Santy:santa: Cheers

Thankfully my son's never been one to put things in his mouth. He's played with small Lego brick (under supervision in the early years) since he was tiny.
