Mega extended battery "Zero Lemon"(9300mah) for Galaxy Note 2 now available in UK, £25 ZeroLemon and fulfilled by AmazonUk
£25Amazon Deals
The Zero Lemon has had some great reviews, and reading up on it on the likes of XDA it really seems to deliver x3 the life of the stock battery, which is already one of the best around. Reports of using the phone in "regular" use lasting 5-6 days on one charge, 20-30 hours screen time, etc.
This is the first time I have seen it available in the UK, and is cheaper than I was expecting. I am new to the note 2, and finding its lasts fine on stock, but might get this anyway, it is apparently compatible with my model the N7100. (On stock I turn many functions off, brightness quite dim, and use Juicedefender, etc... I currently get approx 9-10 hours screen time (mainly tvcatchup over wifi)..... So this could be a true beast, :-)
Obviously it will make the phone bulkier / heavier, but to be able to use the phone for days on end may be worth the trade off for some.
Includes free TPU case, 6 month warranty
No NFC

Correct
I've not bought one as I find the extra girth too much for what already is a big phone. Voted hot as others may need the extra battery life that this product brings
Are you using NFC? I have it on my phone and have never used it.
I used it a few times when I got my nexus 4 and 7, to transfer wallpapers, notification sounds, etc, across quickly.
In the end though, its far easier to just throw things up on google drive and have them accessible everywhere. No faffing on to find the NFC "sweet spot" as well when touching devices together.
It's quite a nice little feature if you invest on some NFC tags.
Nice deal here btw. I bought 2 3100mah batteries as spares though. I'm not sure in welcome the extra bulk of this battery.
I like this alot - but I would get a separate portable charger instead.

I think that was a review when it first came out, the TPU case doesn't fit very well, as the video shows. Apparently this was quite an issue, and an improved fitting case was introduced. I also have heard that a new "rugged" case may be available in the US soon.
I have ordered and cancelled twice. I think it's a great price for what you get, (I thought it would be about double this price), and may buy one in the future (if it doesn't sell out like they have been regularly doing in the US), but ave only had the Note 2 a week and its been easily lasting me a day so far (usually with plenty left).
For folk into hiking, cycling, festivals, etc, which I might be myself in a few months, I think this is awesome.... I might have talked myself into ordering again...
;-)
Edit, okay just ordered, again.
I haven't found a direct comparison video, with two phones next to reach other, but it would appear to approx double the thickness of the phone, as these batteries often do. Also remember that that includes the tpu case / back
I do like the way it keeps the "shape" of the phone. I have had extended batteries that really made them look very odd, with a big bulge at te back.
From an Amazon review of this battery >

So this is becoming my every day case. you can do NFC tricks with Wifi and bluetooth settings in NFC Task Launcher."
Now that I've seen what you can do with NFC task launcher, I'm off to a certain auction site to buy some cheap NFC tags.
Also I'd advise anyone even with this battery to use Easy Battery Saver in Intelligent mode, it's free on the Play Store. I tested it versus Snapdragon Beta (only for phones with Snapdragon CPUs) and it thrashed it. I've also tried Juice Defender, but Easy Battery Saver still wins it for me.
so wouldn't it be possible to mod the new back cover to accomdate the nfc antenna from a "spare" or another cover if NFC and power was crucial for some users?
also the phone fits in my pockets easily at the moment, i would be worried it might give people the impression im happy to see them when that might not be the case. worse still they'd be disapointed too!
I use my tags in the car, too. Cost me a fiver for 10, far cheaper than getting the official NFC dock which doesn't fit my car properly anyways.
Good deal for this battery, mind. If i'd not already bought 4 Ankers in preparation for Glastonbury i'd be all over it.
Afraid not...

Always thought of doing this, but never had the time to look into it properly. My first NFC enabled phone was also a Lumia 920, and it destroyed the battery thanks to software bugs, so I've since avoided it.
Any reccommendations on cheap tags?
Wouldn't have thought so
I am sure it does, the 7105 is outwardly identical to the 7100.
I can confirm it works fine on N7105 - just received mine.
The case is a nice size and shape, and feel. Doesnt feel as big and awkward as I thought.
Edit...few ours later...have been using the case only for size, etc..over my phone....really ratber impressed with the feel, and can see myself keeping it on if it does offer x3 life. Long charge tonight.
Would be interested in seeing what users think of it.
My Mrs bought me the official tectiles tags (for crazy money) so thats all I've used but I did get my brother a selection of different ones from nfcdirect.co.uk/ There are quite a few sites like that one that sell plain tags. I just liked the idea of the starter pack because you get tags of all different styles.
I would presume it wouldn't be possible (?)
Battery sure seems to live up to its reputation, its a good 'un
...edit... update...
Really impressed, getting 5 days use with 28 hours screen time, magnificent.
Thanks for that , it does make a big difference.
