bargain if you have got that kind of space - no wonder they need to sell them off so cheap!

Thanks, just ordered one for collection at Telford branch tomorrow. The size isn't a problem (well for me anyway) because it is a present for my neighbours son!!

thanks, glad its helped someone out

Have reserved one, but not sure if I will buy it because the missus would do her nut!!!

Hot anyway - Thanks

Have heard that that the Mega Motors racing sets aren't very good (very difficult to keep cars on track, especially the anti grav bit) and are poorly constructed.

Let us all know how you get on with them.

Fantastic deal, but I just don't have the space! And they are in stock in my local branch.:x
Heat and rep added anyway, super find.

from me too (heat and rep) good find. At this price who can complain!

I got one last xmas for the kids with a loop the loop bit on it. Very hard even for me to keep the cars on the track let alone my nippers. In the end i just used the 'flat' bits to build a track but it was still hard to keep em on and took bloody ages to build, in the end the kids lost interest.

TBH at this price compared to Scaletrix its a bargain, but you do get what you pay for so beware. Mine is now sat in a big tub under little ones bed and is collecting dust !

Just reserved one - gonna get tomoz along with a couple of these hold-alls for a fiver each. great for attic storage. The hold-alls - not the race track. Actually, you could use the race track for storage but I guess it's quite narrow so would recommend the hold-alls instead. having said that, you can race the hold-alls because they have wheels - but they are not mains operated.

I'm really excited about all this - amazing what a couple of wee drinks will do for ya!:lazy:

Now for a top up - hope I can navigate down the stairs safely...

zzzzzz...

This looks a cracking bargain and i was tempted to get one but decided to check out a bit of feed back on it first. Cant find many positive things said about it so im going to give it a miss. Heres one of the sites i looked at.

Still a good post though.

Dont want to put a dampner on this I bought one last christmas (2006) took hours to set it up and the cars keep sticking on the anti gravity bit you get what you pay for wouldnt recommend it maybe i was unlucky with one i had. but bought a scalectrix in sale this year and its in a different league better cars, better constructed and only took 20mins to set it up

Brought 8 last year - they're shat. Still got 5 in the garage.

If you set it up as a flat course - they're almost useable, but useless on the spins, etc...

Got One Last Year
Clips Very Hard to Get on when Joining Track (Especially the Anti Gravity Parts and Loops)
Clips Break Very Easily.
Not very Good

I am another sucker who bought one last year after seeing a simillar Argos deal on this website.

It takes ages to set up and it is impossible to get the cars to stay on the track. It is a pile of cr*p. Once you have used it once, you will never use it again. It is a very poor quality product. Argos should be ashamed to sell it.

It ended up in the bin a week later !

OK guess I'll not use my reservation code. I fell guilty for reserving and not buying - so reservation code for Livingston Argos central scotland is.. 083198

If anyone wants it - please feel free. Sorry to the 'hotdeal police' for being greedy & reserving - but in my defence I was a wee bit tiddly as my previous post will not doubt confirm.. Still - no excuse...

I also bought one of these last year and can also confirm that it is a pile of ****. Impossible to keep the cars on the track. Do not buy one as you will be wasting your money!

Still around.. thanks for the pointer sillysib
