Same as the last two times, dates are new though, until the end of December.

I went to Paris with this last time and it was fine, absolute bargain.

Plenty of £1 dates to be had at time of posting.

Excellent I don't the London brussels Amsterdam Brussels London trip last month , very good for the price

Megabus vs Dumptruck would make a great film. oO

10 hours to Amsterdam from London ...but it's only a few quid ...plus I'd no doubt spend both ways quite "sedated" so doubt it would matter too much. Heat from me.

I'd rather go on the bangbus

Thank you. As alway we are going to Paris:)) Love the place love the city:)) I'm glad so gla-a-a-d:))

Went to Amsterdam the other week with megabus and both ways crossed by ferry so expect it will be the same.

i would rather pay for a flight than take the sweaty megabus. I'm not a student no more i guess its a good deal though

Hmmm, always a bit dubious about getting a ferry or any sort of boat in the autumn or winter.

Sniffer dog is going to have field day on the way back from Amsterdam!

Not sure I could handle such a long journey on a bus, but this is a stonrming deal

i alredy booked for paris for november but for 20 pounds go and come back
is not too bad
because i coldnt find friday to sunday more cheap
but is not a good price??

The journey is very tolerable... Modern, clean coaches with working air con.

Despite being full on the way out (and a girl being sick in the seats opposite) the journey was good.

Surely someone would have to pay me to endure that long a megabus journey?! (Probably not the same if you're able to depart from London/Southern England)

What the hey! Amsterdam in Oct. Nice one OP!

Pretty sure that within the EU there's no real restriction on baccy etc. I've come back from Greece with about 6 strips of different brand cigarettes as gifts for friends etc and never had any hassle either end.

Do they have service station breaks? May seam a daft question but I couldn't travel for hours without fresh air.

If you really mean baccy then Belgium, especially Adinkerke is the place to go. Loads of day trips starting from all over England.

The guidelines are 800 cigarettes and 1Kg tobacco, however according to hmrc there are no limits as long as the tobacco/cigarettes are for personal use or gifts. If you do get stopped with a shedload of tobacco or cigs of differing brands, they will probably ask more questions as people normally stick to one brand for their own use. People do get stopped and if they think that you're going to be selling it, they will seize it.

they banned cafe smoking for tourists now in Southern holland just in case anyone didn't know. Amsterdam follows in january.

That sucks! But why??

stops drug tourists, I suppose, its on google if you search cafe amsterdam ban. the coffee shop owners were protesting and said it would lead to mass closures, however they have stopped selling some of the stronger stuff as it was causing the tourists to hallucinate. Its ok if you live locally though, so you could speak the lingo, pick up an accent and pretend you live nearby!!

as it was causing the tourists to hallucinate

I find that rather hard to believe to be honest, they'd have to be drinking about a tonne of 'coffee' to get to that point..

Google was not my friend in this case. With images all across my 24" screen, the wife had to pass by at this very instant. I have no idea if she saw anything as I didn't have the guts to turn round and check. Thing is, she'll wait 5 months before bringing this up and call me a pervert, so I won't know till then.

Just booked my cousin and I a day in the 'dam for £4.50 all in.... Gotta be worth a try.

Almost 12hrs to get to paris. **** that. What do they do, stop at every town along the way?

Megabus have the worst customer service I have ever encountered, their website is about as stable as a jenga stack and the electric sockets hardly ever work. Hopeless company who I wish I had never had the displeasure of dealing with.

Had nothing but good experience with megabus. Always polite and clear about everything involved with the journey. My mum has also travelled with them many a times and she speaks next to no English.
