might be a good price for the megs kit. But I'd rather get a rotary and invest in some decent pads (and still come in a fair bit cheaper than the megs kit). People seem to be scared of rotaries but even a cheapo silver line rotary will make decent paint correction easier, in my experience you would have to be incredibly ham fisted with a rotary to actually damage your paintwork.

Agreed. I actually have a silverline one from toolstation and use it for polishing. Was around £35 a couple of years back.
Shame there's not a good deal on the extremely expensive meguiars microfiber pads

ded - Great price for a good polisher that is normally highly rated when reviewed. Good choice of speeds and dual action.....ideal for cutting, polishing and waxing!......and not forgetting it's the cheapest deal for this particular polisher.......unless you know of a cheaper deal you wish to share!!!!!
