I'm a proper car snob, I own 2 and have been into detailing for the last decade. Easily have spent over a grands worth on car cleaning kit.

A 99p bucket with a grit guard will do the job better, because you can have 3 buckets (the 3rd for the lower part of your car if you really want to be proper careful). In this case, you are paying for a cool looking bucket. IMO, save the money and spend it elsewhere.

This will last a decade,99p bucket maybe 3 cleaning sessions. Buy cheap buy 10 times

I owe both yellow and blue, yellow bought from halfords very good quality, thick plastick worth 10 quid in my opinion. Blue bought from amazon looks and feels like fake one, plastic is thinner and it bends. Its ok but nowhere near yellow quality.

It's a bucket ffs. It holds water.
Same job as a 99p one.

I've got one of these for free from Halfords. It's okay! A cheap 99p bucket does the same job tbh. No heat from me - sorry OP 😔

I have two of those- both developed a big crack after 6 months of use. You can half fill them still but it makes them less useful.

I guess you could get 9 buckets over 4.5 years for the same price as one in this deal but the inconvenience of that and the amount of plastic waste are factors for me.

Your experience is hopefully better than mine.

plain white buckets with your own stickers is far far cheaper

and no you dont need 3 to wash your car (edited)

Correct you need 6. 2 for the wheels and 2 for the car. 2 for the fabric roof on convertible

Ah this takes me back to when i was single, childless and had a car i adored lol. from spending hours snow foaming, two bucket method with wookie mitts, claying and applying two coats of Zymol Glasur, now i go the IMO wash and find french fries, and skittles in my rear footwells. Growing up sucks! (edited)

The issue for me with the grit guards is that they rely on the grit sinking to the bottom, so if the grit sinks to the bottom then just don't let your sponge go to the bottom of the bucket, simples... a £1 B&Q bucket is fine for me.... But still a good price if you want this specific product.

What has this got to do with Hybrid Ceramic? I'm really confused by the title of this product. I thought it must be made of some special material but it's just plastic. What is the difference between this and the yellow version?

Assuming it is the same..some people like the colour difference to differenciate between their other buckets especially when using the two bucket method.

I like the yellow bucket as it makes the grit stand out more so I know how gritty the water is.

cant believe you've mentioned the word sponge!

agree wash media shouldnt touch the bottom of the bucket nor should you swirl your wash media around in the bucket making the grit etc come up

These usually go for £20, so great deal. I've got this one and the yellow one. They are solid and if you get the lit it can be used as a seat to clean the wheels for example.

No they don't. These go on average for £13-14. Have a look online for yourself, at least 5 places at that price.
