Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) remembers everything up to the night his wife was brutally raped and murdered. But since that tragedy, he has suffered from short-term memory loss and cannot recall any event, the places he has visited or anyone he has met just minutes before.

Determined to find out why his wife was killed, the only way he can store evidence is on scraps of paper, by taking Polaroid photos and tattooing vital clues on his body.
Throughout his investigation, he appears to have the help of both bartender Natalie (Carrie-Ann Moss), who may have her own secret agenda and police officer Teddy (Joe Pantoliano) whose friendship is always suspect.

As Shelby's fractured memory tries to piece together a chilling jigsaw of deceit and betrayal in reverse, breathtaking twists and surprising turns rapidly occur in the most challenging, original and critically acclaimed thriller in years.

Pure quality film

Are we going to list every DVD that HMV are selling for £3???

Why not just list them all in one post rather than all seperatly

This film is pretty hard work......quite confusing.

I figured I might as well test the waters, but everyone and their mother seems to be posting Entertainment deals, so I'll do it later.

Plus, I already posted some before Christmas, but HMV expanded their range.

Veryu good film, Guy Pearce should be in more films. voted hot

Neighbours - The 'Plain' Jane Years...

my favourite film, amazing. i'm forever in-debted to the casting director of Neighbours. what a thought.

Very over-rated film

i watched this movie but didnt understand it, who was the guy that murdered his wife? was it that policeman?

Great film and one of the most innovative of the last decade. The various DVD versions have been knocking around at dirt cheap prices for ages though.

I think this version has the "extra" of allowing all the scenes to be played in the chronological order. i.e. starting from events at the beginning rather the events at the end as the film actually does.

Bollywood copied this film and called it GHAJINI
