sorted byWhen will people learn, unlined, thin polyester/polyamide jackets are 10 a penny. Extremely cheap to make, not durable at all and if you really need one, better off going for the cheapest because designer branded ones will be no better than a cheap £5 one.
I own a designer clothing retail business of 10 years so I love designer brands and see how the quality of it being worth paying extra for. Barbour is a superb brand with quality items, apart from these sorts of jackets.
Don't buy it, you will regret it and be sending it back. (edited)
If you are silly enough to buy this, then, bear in mind it's Barbour International so should be smaller sizes than the standard Barbour range.
I say "should" as the international range for years has been almost always slim fit. As it just meant people would size up, Barbour are slowly doing away with this slim fit in the international range and most new season international items are standard fitting.
I would expect this to be old season and therefore it's probably slim fitting.
We don't stock this thin unlined poly jacket tat as I refuse to rip off our customers so I can't hand measure them, but I would have a confident guess and say the small pit to pit is 20 inches and the medium is 21 (1 inch smaller than the usual measurements of the size in the standard Barbour range).

Just received mine today and I have to agree with your comments. The "... unlined, thin p/p jackets are 10 a penny" part stands out particularly.
Returning mine right away at my expense which means I lose the shipping costs to (£tbc) and from (£4.99).
I could have listened to you and not bought it but wanted to check for myself also. So no regrets.

By all means please do. Having worked several years in marketing for a designer company that owns several brands, I went on to build the retail business which no doubt many here would have heard of. I could sit back but I'm driven by a passion. It's a hobby of mine still and always happy to help here with even doing measurements for people of clothing posted here if we have it in stock ourselves.
To be fair though, what was there to check? It's well described as a polyester and a "pack away" jacket, which is exactly what buyers received.
