Looks good but reviews of Tokyo Laundry seem consistently poor.

Absolutely, quality is icongorous. I've used them on and off for over 6 years, no luck.
Primark has much better quality especially with chinos.

With this brand when you read the comments its ALWAYS either mostly good reviews or mostly bad reviews.

The site should automatically duplicate these posts, one for all good reviews and the other for bad reviews.
Clobber if you want to blend in at a shopping centre near you.
Most yewts look alike these days wearing this stuff. It's the school uniform for after you leave school.

I bought my partner underwear & 3 shirts, 2 of them are the flannel shirts. They're ok quality for the price & haven't shrunk in a 40°wash

Yeah what a terrible affliction, attending a supermarket *spits*

Is Tokyo Laundry anything to do with superdry? like firetrap, fullcircle are connected

Tried visiting a shopping centre?
I've bought their t-shirts in the past and some have been high quality, well made and never shrunk. However, others have shrunk and totally lost their shape and now hug in all the wrong places which is no good for my ageing outline

True Primark quality is better than TL.
Only ordered from them once and never again. All the sizes were on the small side (large was more like a medium) and then shrunk even further after 1 wash.

Perhaps buy 2 sizes bigger than you need and it might work out

Anything I have got has been true to size and never shrunk.
Primark has a better quality than this...
Terrible quality and CS.
Got my item in 2 days so no issue with delivery. Ordered the same item as I did over Christmas, which arrived damaged. Raised it with CS, return was sorted and the return fee waived just over 24 hours. Got a refund as they didn't have any stock then. The return got stuck with Hermes, but they trusted me and still refunded before they had actually got the item. So, CS is great in my opinion. Last item I bought has been going for 6 years now.

Have nothing bad to say about anything I have ever bought from Tokyo Laundry, other than their normal is overpriced so always wait for these sales (which like SCS occurs weekly!)

There are often negative reviews on here, but maybe I'm just luck or others are just fusy - at these prices, teh qulity more than matches the price paid

I Googled incongruous and now I know what it means, I agree....
Their underwear isn't bad
**WARNING**

This clothing is of a LOW quality. You'll be lucky if it survives one wash.

Yeh clothes are shocking I had some joggers which just came apart around the pockets. You get what you pay for
Thanks, got some items
Cheap nasty stuff no customer service

Cheap nasty stuff no customer service

Only ever commented on Tokyo Laundry deals.. Weird.
I have theory that Superdry employees are behind the awful reviews this company gets.
Their stuff bobbles like a mofo
I bought a jacket and within a month it's got wrecked there is no customer service number e mailer them they never e mailed back
Bought a single shirt and the bundle from them previously (gilet, shirt and hat).

Both times the shirts have shrunk on a 30 wash.

Not again.

(The hat was tiny, but the gilet is top notch for the price)
**********

Stay away from these jokers at any price better go to Primark and get far better quality in there.

Tokyo Laundry is a loads of crap now being very honest and you can sure try yourself if you don't believe me.

I bought an XL hoodie and a L jumper from there earlier this month (£10 each deal), they've been in the wash twice so far and honestly they're fine.

Maybe I was lucky but so far so good in terms of my experience with them

Yes I always go off the Amazon reviews which are always very good for this brand and only from verified buyers. The problem with HotUkDeals is that anyone can comment so its possible that the site gets used to push a negative agenda.
Damn, if only I was an XXXL.

I'm in clothing industry for nearly 20 years and do not work for any competitors of Tokyo Laundry and can honestly honestly say this brand has gone down the hill over the last year or so and a total disaster. It wasn't that bad at start as they are now.

Getting something decent out of Tokyo Laundry at present has lesser odds than winning a lotto jack pot.

I have only returned 2 padded jackets back to them last month as they arrived with an open/broken shoulder seam and a poorly attached zip respectively, as I took a gamble knowingly to be honest.

This review is given with total honesty yet you are free to go ahead and build up your own awful experience.
