An insult to call this a "Mountain Bike", barely passes safety standards let alone be a "Mountain Bike"

Indeed it is. Fine for kids when the only off roading they are doing is bumping up and down kerbs. But to take this on a red or black route at the 7 Stanes, you would snap the suspension whilst leaving the car park.
Cheap none the less.

Agreed. The MBR would eat this! Should be called 'MTB shaped bike'. An Amazon reviewer loved it though:

"Do you want to get back into cycling? Do you want a bike that's easily maintained and hassle-free? Do NOT get this bike. It is absolutely dreadful. Don't be fooled by the price; go to a specialist bike shop and listen to their recommendations. This bike is shoddily made - after less than two weeks of moderate commuting the gears had already bent and shifting became extremely difficult, after three weeks one of the gears broke whilst cycling up a moderate incline. I promise this bike will give you hours of hassle and expenditure on new parts. You may as well pay the extra for something that will give you much more enjoyment (as well as being much lighter). Only buy it for the spares - tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, perhaps the wheels (though even these seem a little cheap) - as it is really that bad! "

And another buyer adds:

" it is one of the bogus bike i've ever use.it doesn't have speed"

This is a death trap, do not waste your money or put your children or yourself at risk.

Should I buy one for my Grandad then?
