Nice spot. Ordered

They sound good....anyone ever owned a pair?

Cheap price, good find have some heat. Not Zamberlan, Berghaus, or Brasher for £20 what more could you ask for. Some may want gold threads and laces but the average wearer should be happy with them for the price, you can't get anything decent from the crappy shoe shops for this price.

Very very poor quality, know in trade as re-crapper!

awesome find op cheers

Very good! ORDERED. My last pair was fine, paid £40 for those ones

Regatta boots are pretty average quality - but decent enough for £20.

Never worth £65, £25-£30 maybe

I have some, sturdy enough, Water resistant is open to interpretation , i would suggest you buy padded insteps as they are quite hard on the bottom of the foot.....otherwise good for the price.

What trade? I'm in the trade and have never heard them called that.

I take it you made it up to try and be funny....but its backfired. Whoops.

Have a pair of these, not very tough, and leak very badly. Reggata used to be a good brand, not now
DO NOT BOTHER TO PURCHASE

Great boots I have a pair. Ordered a 2nd pair

I am with Drac here, they are good enough for dog walking and light use. At £20.00 you are not risking much money.I will be putting mine on the fire soon as they are finished after about 3 months.

So they're great and rubbish?!

I know opinions vary but surely they can't be at both ends of the good/bad spectrum.

The product description clearly says "water-resistant" and not "water-proof". Nobody with any sense would wear a pair of goretex-type boots in wet conditions.

Fabric-based boots are not the sturdiest either. If you need something both sturdy and water-proof then you will need to buy a decent pair of leathers, and pay substantially more than £20 !!

For low-med level walking in reasonably dry conditions however, these are fine and a good price at £20. Therefore hot. Thx OP.

I guess it depends what you want them for?
If you want a boot suitable for all conditions as used by the sas then this is not the boot!! If however you want it for walking even in light wet conditons then these are a bargain at £20!!!

Terrible boots.

Mine fell to bits within a couple of months.

sounds like you need a pair of wellies not walking boots

I had a pair of these fall apart after normal light use really disappointing quality I'm afraid to say.

bought a pair of these from Costco for tenner just before xmas.. only used them yesterday when the snows fell.. Seem pretty good for the price.. But i wouldnt pay more than £50 for them. £20 seems a good price.

As above post, Costco had these for about £12 inc Vat, not a bad pair of boots - worth about £20, I wouldnt pay more. Kept my feet dry in the melting snow today.

for £20 you cant go wrong..have some heat:)

Probably worth about £25. So £20 seems a decent price. I got some from Costco for £12, which really is a bargain. Seem sturdy enough for occasional use, just had them out in the snow and my socks are still dry.

Yep think that was the deal I posted (Regatta Cambrian boots £12 @ Costco)? That was a bargain price, £20 is still good, wouldn't pay much more than that though.

Agree with what alan mcculloch posted "they are good enough for dog walking and light use". And at just £20, a fine price for that purpose!

I believe they were called Cambrian, M and M direct still have them for £19.99 + £3.95 p&p

Pretty terrible boots. Had a few pairs last year and half of them the inner part of the heel collapsed within a fortnight and the others just fell apart. Longest living pair lasted 2 months.

False economy. Save up a bit more and get brasher or berghaus

Ugly.

Check out the regatta ones on MandM Direct for £20. Much better looking and id say a better boot.

I found that they're comfy boots and seem fine for light use - the soles on my pair seems to be wearing away rather quickly!

Normally wear 9 or 9.5.

Wonder if better to get 9 or 10s.

Decisions.

why did you keep buying them?

Poor quality make they make bold statements in there advertising & on there tags but it's piffle I had a pair of there £45 shoes for £20 they fell apart in 3 months I bought a waterproof breathable jacket by them I took that back for a refund it was made like a 70s kagool & they didn't argue with me in the regatta shop when I asked them how they can sell this sub standard rubbish as a quality outdoor jacket waterproof & breathable rubbish
