Wasn’t sure which to go for this one or Barber/Hunter. Pulled trigger on Regatta...anyone know the difference? Or comparison
Regattas not really a top brand, I’d go for generic supermarket ones for £15
from £9.99 @ screwfix
Thats a shame. Could get a pair of Hunters for this price. Thought quality would be different or better even as its Regatta.

Depends. If I’m planning on DIY or Gardening, not everyday wear then screwfix all the way. If it’s to wear out to do my daily routine e.g shopping, school run, then maybe not something from Screwfix.

If you are planning on spending money for something good and will last, look at Le Chameau or Aigle Parcours. Sometimes Philipmorrisdirect can have good bargains.
Edit: Just to add "Goodyear" are also pretty good.

Cecil is right! I bought some Aigle Parcour 2 ISO’s and they’re excellent. Super warm and very comfortable, Hunters are s**t, better with a pair of Dunlop’s than Hunters.

Hunter are rubbish. Back in the day they were made on Scotland and were absolutely bullet proof, made from a particular latex dip method.
To maximise profit, Hunter then moved production to China and the quality fell off a cliff. Leaks, collapsing heel, you name it. The original equipment was sold to a Serbian company, if I remember rightly.
These days they are more of a fashion accessory rather than a practical boot. Go to Screwfix for practicality, Le Chameau if you want high end.

Lol, yeah bad angle on the pic.

" Auto-Cleaning Michelin® Agri Sole Developed in partnership with Michelin, the Michelin Agri sole provides the same high performance as their agricultural tractor tires. The outsole tread uses Michelin Ultraflex tyre auto-cleaning technology, distributing weight evenly giving better grip on soft ground and dislodging soil and mud while walking"

Describes the "Tech" here.
