I will say however that; until actually seeing it close up; this looks remarkably similar to those cheap "Chinese" watches (99p etc.) that have 'fake' dials (just decoration only) and the extra 'buttons' do nothing. I know it seems like I'm knocking my own deal but It doesn't say anything in the description about other 'functions' of the watch so be savvy.

This is the sort of thing I'm talking about. If you're prepared to wait for delivery from overseas:

They surely can’t be making any money at 99p delivered! Crazy price!

Ask yourself that same question when you see that some of the 'auctions' go at £0.01p including delivery...

It's all down to this 'special' deal that China has with the postal services. They can send stuff at a tiny fraction that it would cost us - especially as they send in bulk.

Yeh I’ve always thought about that but even then when you consider, manufacturing, packing, postage, listing fees etc. The numbers just don’t stack up. Anyway purely just my thoughts.

Sorry didn’t mean to distract from the deal you have posted.

I know. You'd never think it would you. I asked myself that same question many years ago and then done some digging. They have special 'agreements' with various trading partners - and also there's the dropshippers too that have stock in this country. That's how some items get to you in mere days rather than weeks.

By the way, you didn't 'distract' anything. I thought your question/comment was an interesting conversational musing. I'm still on the fence with my own "deal" as; like I say; it's not cheap if it's just a "looks only" watch. I'd rather just order one from a China seller. If near an Argos though, it would be worth viewing as it has the two year warranty and a store you can return it to if something is wrong.

At £16.99 however it was a 'pull your pants down' utter rip-off, if it is a decorative watch as I suspect.
