    I have a pair of these, they're excellent.

    I usually wear trail running shoes so in comparison they feel quite heavy but for their size and robustness they're pretty light! If you're navigating shale, deep mud or somewhere that needs good grip, these are a great choice. Sizing is as expected, comfort is good, I did add a memory foam insole, but that's personal preference.

    The Brasher original I had was awesome, but my second Berghaus pair was much lower quality. Has lasted 1/3 the time of the first with similar use. I don’t think I’ll be replacing this model again like for like.

    Just for people information Berghaus owned by Pentland Group which is a major shareholder of JD Sports what if I recall is now owned by sports direct and from my own experience of sports direct product karrimor the quality is not very good I can't speak for these boots having never tried them

    if you had history with them you would realize they are excellent, jd sports have nothing to do with the manufacture of these boots
