I've got a light jacket from SuperDry and I love it but I am not too sure whether to buy a winter jacket from SuperDry or wait for a good bargain from The North Face. I want something that will last for years. I don't live in the North Pole though

Bought one a couple of months ago, nice jacket and yes I found it very warm, the only thing I don’t like is that it has three zippers and you have to be careful not to mix them up
Just what I need for todays weather

wrap up warm summer
Cheapest yet. My jacket had six zips and was too small in the arms and across shoulders. Recommend you order a size above your usual. Or wait till winter.
People still wear these?
Are the jacket shower / water proof?
Zip broke on mine on the first wear, still waiting for a replacement 4 weeks later, customer services is not on top form
Absolutely disgraceful customer service twice ordered both times the jacket got lost in transit once home delivery and next time ordered via argos click and collect. Ordered 03rd March just got an email for refund yesterday...
avoid at all cost or could be my bad luck?
Got this last time around and still waiting for a reply from them as to why the left pocket isn't ACTUALLY a pocket. Love the jacket otherwise.

No they didn't.

The snow way back when finished my last one of these off (finished as in to infer it had seen a hard life and served me well). Got all mucky and was beginning to look bit worse for wear anyway, so when they popped up at £38 I grabbed one. Even more of a no brainer at this price. Will keep you warm for sure but only showerproof despite the name lol so if you spend alot of time out in heavy rain probably wait for a North Face one.

Heated.

Superdry stuff is just a fashion brand. Their gear isnt really built for functional use but general day-to-day it's ok if you can figure out which zip to use. I guess some people like the superdry logo emblazoned everywhere but i thibk its a bit... sometimes over the top.

What i mean is their ski range isnt good for skiing in, their waterproof outdoor gear isnt as good as a Rab/Mammut/Berghaus etc.
Just ordered a blue one I remember seeing these in clothes store for £120 so now at this price can't say no
If your a average sized adult male (6ft 2) who takes XXL jackets and likes a bit of free space inside for a thin jumper dont even bother with these. I tried on the XXXL (Largest size) and even then its snug but just about fits with a T-Shirt only on. The triple zipes are a nightmare and from what i hear from my nephew they break easily.

Is a brand for slim people
I bought Superdry around 5 years ago, still going strong. No problem with zips at all. Excellent for the winters.

At least buying from ebay they cant easily enforce the age restrictions for Superdry.

For winter I'd very much prefer their proper winter jackets over these.

I bought one of their winter jackets - and I've never been one to splash on clothes much - and I'm really happy. Top quality. Warm. Stylish.

I don't really like the "Windcheater" ones, they look a little "chavvy" imho, with all due respect.
Never buying a full price coat from superdry again, the last 2 I paid around the £100 mark and they have both ended up on eBay for less than half price granted one was a different colour but still.

Are you sure you're really "average sized" if you can't fit into an XXXL jacket? I'd consider myself average and I fit into the M (though the sleeves are too short and I wouldn't be wearing a thick jumper underneath).

The triple zips look weird to me but I've had the coat about 4 years and 2 of them are broken, so I guess having a third set actually came in handy! They aren't difficult to use like someone said though, I can't understand how anyone familiar with how a zip works would struggle...
orange out of stock unfortunately

I can fit a XXXL Superdry jacket with just a T-Shirt but its a fitted fit, normally im XXL in T-Shirts and a recent North Face jacket i got was just XL. I have broad shoulders due to weight lifting but i dont have a beer gut or anything to impeed the fit. Superdry just comes up small, its a Japanese brand.
That’s him officer!

It's not a Japanese brand; they are from Cheltenham. The Japanese element is a marketing ploy.

He's right. This brand sucks sooooo bad. Never understand why Superdry stuff gets so hot here. People say North Face is chavy... this brand is king of chav wear. Its just crap, bad fit, rubbish style, cheap materials and above all makes you look like a numpty... completely soulless

Yeah it definitely comes up small, just not so small that the average sized man couldn't fit into XXXL! It's generally one size above what you normally are.

I don't know if it came across that way, but I wasn't calling you fat either. If you have broad shoulders from weightlifting then, given the general population is pretty inactive, you'll most likely be much bigger than average.
