I always see this stupid comment or a similar one like "use your phone, it shows the time too" on luxury watch posts.

What car do you drive? You could have got a cheaper one does the same job..

What trainers or shoes do you wear? could have got a cheaper one, does the same job.

What jacket do you wear? Could have got a cheaper one, does the same job.

What TV do you have? Could have got a cheaper one, does the same job

Also don't go down the £20 non franchise retailer battery replacement with a "lifetime warranty", mine never worked properly again after I put it in, wasn't sealed correctly and I eventually binned it. Having said that, if you can see beyond the battery replacement costs, this is still a good deal, so heat from me to the OP.

Best comment I've read this week... Binned it lol. Yeah no problem Bill Gates we believe you

I don't feel the need to brag about my car, however since you are all bragging about your poxy watches I thought it was worth a mention. By the way it's 22:58 p.m.in case you ain't got a stupid £2,000 watch on your wrist.

Doubt it. You own. 50k car and your last post was for a steering wheel for an xbol lol. What car do you have on Gta a Lambo or Ferrari? Do you sit on your dad's lap and press the pedals??

Good find I'm tempted but after watching the 360 video the second hand doesn't quite line up with the markings and that would bug me at this price but that's just me. Have some heat.

I've binned a few tag watches in my day also. just the way i roll. lol. X)

You may be lucky and not get the actual one shown in the video

Seriously though, I think it's just the camera angles, I think it will probably look okay in reality.

Don't really rate TAGs, but this is a low price for a reasonably upmarket brand, heat added.

Good price. Bought the Senna edition for Christmas but was close to going for a Oris Aquis Date

Yep, the last couple I binned were a right pain in the butt too.

They are not valid. The watch is technically inferior.

Would you not buy the better car that was cheaper?

I go down the "do it yourself for £3". Its a doddle and the whole "official reseal" thing is a complete con outside of professional dive watches (which this certainly is NOT) . Worst case, new gasket and a smidgen of watch silicone grease, another £3.

TAG are a brand relying on the heritage from past great Heuer watches

It's a great discount but IMHO, would rather spend this amount on a CW or Davosa

Me too. I used to send it to Tag for the battery change but yes, stupid prices. I now take it to the man in the market and he does it for £2.99p. He does warn me that it's not too waterproof anymore though; but I wouldn't take that watch to the beach anyway!

Totally agree, it's not rocket science. I change my Omega battery myself, usually the seal remains intact.

Heat for the deal. Good expensive watches. For those of you who have money to burn and have one to bin (not €5 Greek ones) please contact me, I'll even pay the postage.

a bargain. TY OP

Got one in Turkey for a fiver. Great watch. Everyone comments how nice it is.

Same old people with odd comments about how expensive this is. This is 1 weeks average wage in the UK...

For this money should really be an auto

Noice.

Tacky as. Even genuine ones look fake. No movement. £650 for a Chinese movement - bargain!!

But this money spent on a CW would get you a much better quality watch - it's a matter of opinion how much 'heritage' is worth - to some it's everything but to other almost irelevent. Heat added but personally I'd buy the CW.

Personally I'd buy this: https://www.christopherward.co.uk/events/half-price/c9-5-day-automatic

But the TAG is a good discount.

Exactly what I was thinking, and the realisation that they charge £100 for a battery change, they should change the whole movement for £20

Too right. Now for real class, heritage, quality and style: jaeger-lecoultre.com/eu/…tml

I'm not a fan of Tag watches, the style is not to my taste. Also, they don't get a nice patina, they just look shabby.
