lmao, excellent!

According to a report by War on Want, suppliers to Asda pay as little as 5p-an-hour to their workers for an 80-hour week and use workers as young as 13. If jeans cost just £1.50, how much can possibly be paid to the people making these?

But second hand jeans from the charity shop are likely to be far, far better quality.

Would you rather have 15 years old work hard and earn some money for a living
or stay in a council home on benefits drinking all day long!

Rather ironically, even those sweatshop workers wouldn't wear these jeans:p

Good for the gypsi look

Actually, no, it results in them living in poverty. The living wage is Bangladesh is £22-a-month, but apparently some factory workers get under £8-a-month meaning they cannot eat properly, feed their children or get basic medicines. It seems a real shame to me, just so we in the rich west can buy very cheap clothes that often get thrown away after a couple of wears.

work is work, and relative in each country... its not good, but its probably better than not having a walmart contract.... the pros.... the cons.... blah blah ... its in asda and they look f***** s***...

Only thing is I love Diesel jeans, and the workers on them probably get paid the same as the walmart possy workers, but at least Diesel jeans will last longer, feels better to wear and look a lot better... FACT [ I reckon 95% would agree but go ahaed you 5%..................... ]

So, they all get paid the same.... these are nasty jeans....

Budget / Vs / Stlye / Vs / Ethics
.......

HOT***

Instore its also on the ladies £3.00 jeans while stock lasts as smart price jeans have now been re-priced and will be sold at £4.00

nice and cheap

Perfect for painting

A man that has to wear these is a man that's given up on life...

wow cheap!

Why do some of u diss these jeans? ARe you all brand *****s who would rather pay £100 more for a coat with a burberry label, than an identical coat made in the same factory but with a different label? I have always found these jeans to be as well made as any expensive branded ones. The style is rather generic but wear it a few years and with it looking washed out and frayed in parts, it will look like an expensive pair of jeans!

Rubbish.

Some of us value spending a bit more on jeans that look and feel good.

If you're looking for cheap jeans I'd recommend Gap's new range. Beautiful denim and fashionable cuts.

Well if they made better quality, they would get worn more often.

Do these have the "ASDA Values" logo on the pocket? That would be classy.

Would a £30 pair of jeans last longer than 20 pairs of these £1.50 jeans?

I can't imagine wearing a pair of these out so I would have thought one pair of these may very well last a thousand lifetimes - safely ensconced at the bottom of a drawer.

Cheap Cheap cheap Jeans Great find

Too cheap if anything.

I wouldn't buy them as its blatently a product of near slave labour.

These are OK quality and last a while, the boyfriend wears them for work. Why pay £50 to have some with a name slapped on them when they are only going to come home covered in food and grease and god knows what else and smelling not much better?

I guess no one remembers the Braniac episode where the tested Jeans then...

The Expensive Designer ones were no better than the cheap supermarket ones.

That said not many people fill their Jean with rocks and drag them along from the back of a van
