Thanks for adding the larger pic

mens , mens dont come into it this weather , i want some.

looks a good price, have these been sold by them before, would like a view on the quality or lack of.

These look decent enough, might pick a pair up to wear out in the night in Austria. Heat Added.

They don't exactly look the greatest, but all I'm really interested in is how well they cope with gripping on ice. Bought a cheap pair before and while they were fine and warm for walking in the snow, as soon as it turned to ice they were just as rubbish as a pair of trainers. If anyones got a pair of these particular ones I'd love some feedback. Desperately need some good ones for walking on ice but not prepared to pay much more than this for something I'd only wear a few days a year.

They are cheap enough but look too much like orthopedic boots for me .

Buy some of the ice grips on another thread as less than a tenner and you can add and take off very easily to existing shoes. They do work my wife swears by them

There were also some Karrimor Mid mount 2 boots on here the other day from Sports Direct at simiolar or less than these ones - I have these and they aren't bad on ice, but unless you have studded grips like the ice grips nothing will be that good on pure ice

I bought a pair of these for my son when Lidl had them a couple of weeks ago and they have done the job well - he finds them grippy, kept his feet dry and warm. They have a moulded rubber foot and are 'fur' lined- They do come up quite big and smallest mens size is 7 but fine if you pad out with some fleece boot liners. Can't say how good they'd be for say treking up Snowdon but for sledging etc they are fine.

The snow will be gone by Mon!!

i brought a pair of these years ago from Lidls , & they still do the job today. Someone stopped & asked me why i wasn't slipping this morning. Probably not up to some peoples standards, but they are great for me.

Only for you southerners, who only have a few inches of snow, have only had it for a couple of days, still (unbelievably!) make the news headlines and still can't cope!

Thanks for the heads up op - I do hope my local have these as they are perfect for what I need when doing the school runs!! (and I can never fit in the womens sizes)!! Fingers crossed! :-)

Just don't try driving in them!

If you looked at makkax1 profile it says they are from Bradford, hardly a southerner! Saying that , as if you were going to let a thing like geographic location get in the way with having a cheap shot at 'Southerners'

Was gonna buy some Karrimor £35 ones from sports direct but seen these are they water tight type or fabric that soak ups wet like a sponge lol...

Need them for messing with my boys in snow for few hours to keep feet dry and warm..

Cheers
Hk

thanks op

Anyone know if they are waterproof, for when i go fishing walking through mud or sitting in the rain etc

Netto had some "wilderness boots" for £15 this week (offer began 29th Nov) which had a wellington bottom half. Can't given any more details as it only showed you a picture and a price on the leaflet.....
