Just because YOU don't want it, doesn't mean it should be voted as a cold deal... bargain price for those interested/delirious.

... euurgh.

Anyway, does anyone have any idea whether or not this has any kind of system to prevent you just removing the batteries? i.e. is the battery compartment screwed on?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Some people should think before they have a go at a deal

Well considering this seems to be 'hotter' than any of the deals that you have submitted, I think a large number of people would disagree with you.

I have an application on my HTC Desire which requires me to complete maths questions to turn it off. Do I WANT to do that as soon as my open my eyes? No, not really. Does it wake me up more than a regular alarm, therefore fulfilling the purpose? Yes.

Furthermore, I wouldn't want to buy my dad a pillow, watch every Carry On film, play Command & Conquer, or play a Twilight board game. I realise this site isn't created for me, and people with my tastes alone.

Also, I can't help but notice ]this deal submitted by you. An alarm clock which flies away, thus requiring you to get out of bed as soon as you open your eyes to find the flying 'disc'. I know which I would find more annoying as soon as I wake up. Your first comment in that thread is quite interesting too:

jonny619447;8734081

Would be better if the propeller made a noise and then you really would have to jump out of bed to get it! lol...But looks like a bit of fun for a few quid so ordered"

This product which you voted cold is cheaper and I personally think better than your deal (and due to the tempterature, I don't think I'm the only one). As I said, repeating a pattern in bed, I see as far less annoying than having to chase a disc across my room. So please, don't joke that "People like you should be banned from this site". Instead, try growing up, realising that not all websites (if any) are run solely for you and those with your tastes, and appreciate the views of others.

Rant over. (Apologies for the essay other HUKD members)

I really don't understand why people vote COLD on deals that they have no interest in. I for one will be heading to Smiths to try and get one of these! H&R.

Heat added. Don't want one, but after the comments above I feel the need to make it hotter.

^^ me too!

I'd get one....just so it gets me up at 5AM

Haha, brilliantly said and couldn't agree more.

The idea of this is a rather scarry prospect for me in the morning. Finding the snooze button is difficult enough for me. I'd probably have to set it for 5am just so I could get it off by 7am.

Voted hot for the bargain that it is

My 6 year old got this for christmas off a neighbour last year. To be fair he's usually up and dressed by the time it's gone off (wishful thinking really lol). But when it does go off, if I'm upstairs I try and turn it off - and seriously struggle!! So he comes up and turns it off in one go, then rolls his eyes and walks back downstairs!! How stoopid do I feel then

Well worth the money though, good deal:thumbsup:

It's from Christmas, and I don't think they're keeping it in stock, so this is just the last of them being shifted. None in two stored i popped by today in Edinburgh, my girlfriend desperately needs this as she can turn almost anything off in her sleep. An excuse that gets old quickly though

LOL! I do that sometimes - no recollection of snoozing the alarm and end up being late!!

Looked in the Cheltenham store for these but none around; asked a member of staff but she had no idea what I was on about and tried flogging me a travel alarm!!

heat added, been looking for something like this for ages!!!

...however, phoned up the stores in sheffield, and the rotherham store and none of them have it
