If this is a deal, then "Fresh Air" should be in the Freebie section

Lol so when I see these car's I'll have a little chuckle to myself about people who can only afford to buy things like that on monthly payments.

I would've thought interest free on £70k is a deal. If you were in the market for one of these, even of you had the cash sat there you'd be mad not to take it on finance

Bizarrely enough, with the kickbacks the dealers get and pass some of it on to the buyer, it can actually work out a fair bit cheaper having finance than being a cash buyer. Also you can then leave the cash in long term bonds or property earning for you.

After 36 months it will be worth 25k...

Smart move.

It makes so much more sense to take an offer like this versus cash if you are looking to buy.

You can get around 2.65% interest on a 3 year bond, so you can roughly turn that £70,000 into just under £76,000 by the time your finance term ends. Im sure no one would turn away an extra £6,000 if in that situation.

Then finance is an even better option as the final balloon payment is £34k, so hand it back and save £9k.

Looks like not many people on HKUD are in the market for one of these lol

Nah, don't be a pansy. Your hair will stay dry with a helmet.

On a more serous note, aren't there several better cars for the money? Jag XF? Nissan GTR? BMW M5?

Yes of course there are, I don't even like the car. But if it's 'your thing' then 0% finance is a decent way of buying it.

BTW my money would be with the M5 or 911.

Fair enough, this is true, but my point was a commentary on the state of the nation with everyone getting the latest reg car on hire purchase and being a poser. I wasn't judging the financial acumen of purchase method at all. If I had a spare £70k, or indeed £699 per month burning a hole in my pocket, I could easily think of better things to be spending my money on.

Jag XF - you mean F-Type, then yes. GTR squashes just about any Mercedes made in speed terms (if not refinement) and an M5 whilst technically a different class, is seriously cool everyday beast.

The real question is why would you buy this over polished hair-dressers car when you could buy a Porsche. (911, Cayman S etc..) Riddle me that, Mercedes salesman of this world. Also bear min for an SL is the 500 unless your Nicky Clarke, otherwise you will be the butt of all the jokes at the golf club.

£700 a month, that's a mortgage and a half!. Nice car though, sure I could spend £70k on a much better car with lots of change!.

pmsl .. yeah ... a car that looks you have built it from one of those monthly magazines .. better off buying a decent motorbike my friend ... does the same job .. but cheaper.

Scandalous .........rather give that sort of money to a charity!

I think the actual question is "can anyone find a better deal for the same car?"... it doesn't matter if you don't like/want this car or can't afford it, would prefer something else, can't actually drive, only have one leg, once saw a film about penguins, met a man in a bar who swears his second cousin met Tom Cruise at a cocktail party. None of those have any bearing on the point of this post.

Hot from me even though i would never buy even if i could afford it. Good find OP.

Only if you live ooop North.
People are moaning about the cost of this car, but £700 a month is pretty cheap.
You get a bank loan for £10K over 2 years you will pay near enough that.

Not everyone is living on the breadline you know

I can remember when HUKD users got irony and took this post as a bit of fun. Heat added for those who aren't too far up the own a#$€!

wonder how much px they'll give me for my mk iv golf?

I've got a w reg rover 400 going cheap if we're talking bargain cars. Tax runs out on Saturday, but it's got 11mths mot. Lets not mention the head gasket tho.

Not really a deal, this is a standard offer and you will get it cheaper after negotiation anyway.

Personally I will stick to my BMW M135i - £28k with options after discount, 4.9s 0-60, 306bhp and 5 doors!

Also it's not the sort of deal that I would personally find funny, as this is still in the realms of affordability (the monthly wont be too bad once you negotiate your deposit down from that hefty £6k)..different when you are talking £100k+ supercars rather than average £60k road cars

It's a great deal for a an excellent car, but for a 10% more you could have bought an aston martin from a previous deal that some of us took advantage of.

hotukdeals.com/dea…346

The interest free makes it a reasonable finance deal but like others have said for £70k there are plenty of other choices, these sort of deals will always get a mix of positive and negative comments due to who likes the car and who can afford it etc

Ive owned a mercedes for 12 years now and can honestly say its been a terrific car.
However....... Why are they so expensive ??????????? And if they are what they claim to be THE BEST OR NOTHING then give a 7 year warranty like other manufacturers .

I love convertibles ,have a 318 ci se which is 9 years old & only done 28 k which cost less than 6k,the two owners before me have managed to haemorage £22,000 in that time.Factor in a massive hit on a new one & someone like me will be waiting down the line.

Missed out big time on this deal. It was my birthday last week and I asked for a big bag of jelly babies, should ave waited and bagged one of these!!!

If my hair salon makes good money this is the first car I will buy for my middle aged wife.

The mortgage for my new build 2 bed flat in London cost me less than £700 a month. This deal instantly makes the flat look cheap.

But it's a good deal for the car, even I won't be buying it. I've voted hot.

Seeing as you need to pay a further £34,150 after 3 years to keep the car, handing back the keys and then buying it for £25k sounds a good deal.

Bought 4 with TCB

This is hotukdeals not richpersonssukdeals

My boss bought one of these on this deal a few weeks ago.

Although he could afford it in cash 10 times over, he is very safe with his money and recognises a good deal when he sees one.

Surely any one who can afford such a car wouldn't be bothering to hang about some were like HUKD..

love these cars
