I paid £4 for a used PS3 version and must have put 40 hours into this game, not bad 10p per hour.
And I don't care what anybody says I thought it was good fun, sure it has lots of faults but put on your favourite music, hop in a chopper and flatten a building.

Ordered- Nice spot.

Snapped up. thanks.

Buying at this price thanks

voted cold, if you don't like the game you can take it back because it's advertised as having multiplayer which it doesn't as the servers have been turned off.

You really should read more carefully, online support for the PC version is turned off, 360 is still fine.

AFAIK all game which are on xbox are online forever. aside from many pay monthly mmorgs no games so far have had blocked internet access. now whether you can find anyone playing may be another issue. I know that link says otherwise, however am not sure what there is to disable. the xbox users host their own games in effectively tunnelled lan type play.

anyone with experience of xbox online disabled games i would be interested to hear about.

not out of stock now:thumbsup:

They can shut down the servers that control/manage the lobbies without these you wouldn't be able to find a game online - even though once the actual games are found/started it is p2p.

EA have done it for some of their older sports games (Madden 07/08/09, NBA 07/08, etc.)

As I understand it that is the case with everything but EA's games. I don't think we're guaranteed for servers to be kept on, but Microsoft seem to be supporting games for a long time (original Xbox Live is only just now being shut down). EA use their own servers so are not subject to the same rules as everyone else. That's the whole reason why Microsoft had the XSN series of games on the Xbox, because EA refused to add online to their titles if they couldn't use their own servers - eventually Microsoft conceded.

I read

"EA is closing down its online support for late 2008’s Mercenaries 2: World In Flames. "

"Also closing, amongst a number of PS3 and 360 games"

I'm not going to waste my life reading up on what is a crap game

terrible game

terrible game

but not a terrible price.

ordered also got need for speed pro street for £3.99 pre owned which i thought was a bargain

Out of stock again

This game had so much hype, where did it all go wrong? :?

Thanks

REALLY terrible game. I have it on PC and it's seriously the worst game I own, and I own some stinkers. Good price for a game in general so I'll still vote hot, but I wouldn't waste my money on it.

Hmmm, recived my cop today. Definetly was new as said on the website, mine was unsealed and the disc had quite a few scratches on it.

GREAT game!!! ignore the other posts its a fab game, a right laugh...destroy everything, jump into any vehicle! great fun!!

fair few glitches but nothing that stops the fun, its quite a laugh to blow something up and then see it stuck in mid air...its just GTA with a ton more weapons, vehicles, destruction...never gets dull!
Very much like Just Cause but Just Cause is the dullest game EVER and this is FAR from dull!

Very crappy copy arrived. Not pleased, they're having this back.

GAME/Gamestation have been doing this A LOT recently. Advertising a game as NEW but sending a crappy used copy with one of their own seals on it. Very dubious indeed.
