Got to say this was something I didn't know I needed, but it's been really useful so far. Useful for checking old batteries before recycling them. Also come in handy for checking which batteries needed replacing instead of replacing all of them in a device.

Minimum order of 3 (£1.72*3 = £5.16), gave the two extra ones to family members and they've also found it useful.

This seems to be the same one bundled with the Maplins batteries deal
(hotukdeals.com/deals/maplin-80x-aa-lr6-15v-alkaline-batteries-7-year-shelf-life-high-performance-with-universal-battery-tester-4179682)

Didn't need 80 batteries so just went for the battery tester, seems to be the cheapest one I could find, albeit with the minimum order of 3.

These are usually available via Aliexpress for pennies.

Yup still got mine from aliexpress, cant recall I think it was 99p quid though, Still works fine.

I got a blood pressure monitor from aliexpress also for 2 quid 10 years ago and its as accurate as the ones from surgery (yes I tested theirs and mine in front of gp!)

If you just want one for yourself get the digital one, much more worthwhile. Had one myself for years.

Exactly! It's useful to have in any household, you could give the extras away to a nice neighbour, they'll be thanking you when the time comes and they need to use it
