Meridian peanut butter 2kg for £8.98 + 12.12% TCB + Free delivery code @ Holland and Barrett

Found 5th Jul 2016
The 'buy one get one half price' event has come around again at Holland and Barrett, & these lovely tubs are included!

Naturally, I bought 4 tubs for £17.96 and found a free delivery code 'FREEFROM1' - to stop me buying anything else

I used Quidco for cashback (10%) as I wanted the coins for Quidco rewards, however TCB offer a higher rate of 12.12% cb.

Brings the price of 1kg of PB to ~£4 each!

Love this stuff, happy shopping

Depends how much stirring you've done to the tub
It's bit less spreadable than some PBs but I love the texture & the fact its 100% roasted peanuts..just some healthy fats and no palm oil
Weapons grade anaphylactic shock in a tub !
Smooth seems to still be in stock.
I don't think cashback will get paid if you use a voucher code?
Can get a bit separated and solidified, and might require some heavy stirring. I use mine for satay stir-frys and adding to milkshakes, as I just spoon it in.

Love the comment

They've got hideous supplier practices so I've decided to boycott them. Good deal for others I guess.

Both are nice imo. The meridian needs a good stir, but is thinner than some store bought peanut butters for sure. Not a bad thing though really, I like it. And it is just nuts... No rubbish.
Love this my fave peanut butter by far. Love the smooth one though. Great deal.

This is not thin, it just needs stirring when it arrives. The organic one is yummy too.

Well it is, compared to what most people would presume a Peanut butters texture would be. Again, I don't think it's a bad thing, it spreads easily and tastes great..
Argh. Just paid £11 on amazon for same amount.

Could you elaborate on this?

They've been caught trying to get suppliers to pay for their capital investment projects (CCTV etc) and forced small business to continuously reduce the amount they charge to H&B or forfeit their supply agreement. BBC ran a small article on it in the new year: bbc.co.uk/new…578

I run a small business... Can you imagine if I told my suppliers that they need to pay to fix my roof!

Iceland sell Meridian peanut butter? That's news to me.
My local only sells Sunpat and cheaper brands
Great if you can get it though

Back in stock now majestic though you're probably waaay ahead of me by now
Am I being thoroughly dense in how I'm trying to order? Just put two in my basket, used the free delivery code, went through to PayPal and H&B is trying to charge me full price for both tubs?
