Merlin Annual Pass Sale - 20% off

Found 22nd May 2013
During the weeklong half term next week, 27th May to 2nd June, all Merlin attractions will be selling annual passes with 20% off. You can also get your entrance fee refunded, even if you booked online!
I bought my pass in the January sale and I thought they only did one sale a year so was surprised to see this, hope it helps some people :-)

The deal is definitely happening at all attractions, I'm not sure about online though.

Original Poster

That sounds about right. I'll take a photo of the poster tomorrow :-)

If you're a current pass holder and fancy going to the new Sea Life centre:

"As a special treat, we’re offering 35% off the full price of both the Standard and Premium Merlin Annual Pass when you renew for another year! This offer is available exclusively to those attending the Passholder Preview Day on 1st June 2013.

Don’t worry if your pass isn’t due to expire yet; if you take advantage of this offer on the day we’ll be able to ‘top-up’ the remaining time on your current pass by 12 months’ meaning you’ll not lose out on any time. We look forward to welcoming you to SEA LIFE
Manchester."

That sea life one is good have you git a link? Premium works out at £114

You have to book a ticket for the preview day (only open to existing pass holders), and the renewal offer is printed on the ticket. Weblink merlinannualpass.co.uk/eve…=67 to book the tickets (still lots of availability).
Very annoying as I renewed mine in the January sale and haven't collected the renewal yet.

I make it to:
£92.95 for an individual standard pass
£114.40 for an individual premium pass
£69.55 each for a family standard pass
£85.15 each for a family premium pass.
I calculated these from the pass price minus 35%

What is the difference between standard and premium pass?

Does premium pass allows additional person go for free?
Does premium pass allows beat the queues?

Standard Pass Exclusions
Standard Merlin Annual Passes do not include:

August entry to London attractions
Entry to The EDF Energy London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, the London Dungeon and the SEA LIFE London Aquarium during August
Entry to the London Dungeon from 29 to 31 October
View exclusions on our Terms & Conditions page.
Entry to the EDF Energy London Eye on 14 February or 29 to 31 October
View exclusions on our Terms & Conditions page.
Entry to Fright Nights and other events at THORPE PARK without a fee
For Standard Passholders, a £5 event fee may apply
Entry to The Castle Dungeon and Merlin - The Dragon Tower at Warwick Castle
Entry to the Weymouth SEA LIFE Tower from 27th July to 12th August
Please be aware that The London Dungeon is closed from the 31st January due to relocation. It will be re-open to Passholders from 11th March 2013 in it's new place next to The EDF Energy London Eye!

If you are planning to visit during these times, then we recommend you buy a Premium Pass, they don't have any exclusions other than being limited to when the attractions are open of course!

does the pass include Alton Towers Water Park ?

anyone anyone Bueller ;-)

@Tyton - ARAIK neither of the passes include complimentary use of the Alton Towers Water Park, but you do get a small discount off tickets (20%) as a passholder!

Unfortunately NO to both, but it would be a good idea with the priority queue. Last Bank Holiday, we waiting an hour for a poxy children ride in Chessington which lasted a few minutes.

Premium pass doesn't have the exclusion attractions in August that standard pass do, you will need to check out the web site for more details, but I upgrade just my pass as premium because car parking is free (which cost £6 each time), and I have been twice already since April.

Alton Tower Water Park is not part of the Merlin pass deal, but you do get 20% off the price.

does not seem such a great deal compared to their Jan sale
previous deal
