Heat OP - Does anyone know when the Ultimate Passes are available? The saving on Q-Bots etc will be worth the difference on their own, and £650 for a Family is a great investment for a year of All-in Theme Parking.

When a Q-Bot is £80 (ish) for a day of not queuing at Legoland, it willl only take a 3 or 4 trips to cover that. It's a good deal if you want to have days out doing and not queuing.
Good saving if you can't get them for the corporate rate (currently £97.30)

Great deal, they used to do this reduction more often but they have not in a long while, so it is well worth it. Visit 3-4 venues and you've covered the cost for it more or less straight away (though take out a 2nd mortgage for the food, drinks and gift shops at the venues!)

Would advise if you can afford it, definitely go for the Premium instead of Standard. Free parking at places where they normally charge £10, plus you can go throughout the summer holidays (you can't use Standard passes at any time in August *at many attractions, notably those in London*).

Neither Premium or Standard would give you fastrack entry but you will get vouchers in your welcome pack with Premium that will include discount vouchers to use against fastrack vouchers at the venues which utilise them.

You can use the standard passes in August, exclusions are:
any central London attraction - no entry for the whole of August
Alton Towers, Chessington, Thorpe park and Warwick castle- no entry on Fri,Sat & Sun.

Fair enough, thanks for clarifying this.
OK, so if you're a Londoner (or planning to visit London during August) and intend to use your pass, go for the Premium!
Buy one premium for parking and the remainder standard. The corporate rate hasn't changed for a while. When son was younger used no more than 6 or 7 times per year..

We’ve got VIP passes. We’re on our 2nd year. We paid £625 each (4 of us) first year then £525 each to renew this year. If you’re going regularly then they’re definitely worth it. We get unlimited fast track (ie ride fast track as well as queue fast track) at Alton Towers you’d pay £100 each for this alone each day . We also get free drinks, meal at Warwick Castle & loads of other perks .
I think Merlin have/ had closed the wait list but they’re definitely working their way through it as there’s quite a few families just bought theirs.
Renewed our family passes which expired last year. So thank you. £20 pp more expensive from last renewal. So for 3 of us i paid £60 more. That's a lot. I hope the price increase will not continue in this rate :/
are the premium passes worth it if you live in Midlands with a 6 year old?
Anybody know of any way to get discount on annual passes for Drayton Manor?

Cheers

I live in the midlands with a 5 year old. We go to Alton Towers a bout 6 times a year. I have a couple of hotels booked later in the year for weekend visits to Legoland and Chessington.
You also have the Lego Discovery Centre and Sea Life in Birmingham. We are more likely to use the Lego/Sea Life at Manchester as the Mrs will do some shopping
Warwick Castle is worth a visit but make sure you go when the war of the roses event is on (Usually from about May to September I believe)
Also plenty to do for a visit to Blackpool
Loads to do in London if you fancy a visit. You have the London Eye, Shrek Adventures, Sea Life and London Dungeons all in the same area

Then you have to be careful which days you go as standard you have to pick which days you want to visit. Say if you go premium for the parking but when you get in it can only be premium days only want do you do leave the rest of the family in the car

VIP passes how do people afford these :/ £625 each crazy amount of money I am sure most people would just rather book a holiday

Our first year we had passes instead of a holiday . We have our own business & trying to negotiate time when we can both be off together for a week or 2 has been tricky. Our passes mean that we can have lots of days out as a family with less impact on the business

exclusions are only for a few days of the year, personally dont think it's worth paying more for a premium. VIP is great if you can get hold of one, but the ridiculous price puts me off.

I like the look of the premium but like you say is it really worth it
i've taken the plunge on premium passes... been looking at them for atleast a year now
Has anyone that bought in this offer had there’s delivered?
Planning on going London next week can anybody confirm how long passes take to get sent out, or would I be able to use with a confirmation email if they haven’t arrived by then. Many thanks
Just found the answer to my own question. 3-5 working days for anybody with the same question

Ouch, that’s only 50 weeks worth not 52. Did they extend it for you or help you out so you could use them via email verification while you waited
they start it 7 days after the order date anyway.... but not they didn't
Do under 3 year old get in free without a pass to most of these places? Or would I have to buy a pass for a baby under 3

Also, could just 1 family member get a premium pass in order to get the free parking?

Also, no water park at Alton towers included - boooo
