Nectar doing double value nectar points for buying the Merlin annual pass. 500 points = £5 value instead of the usual £2.50 value.
Use your nectar points to pay for the standard annual pass and it will cost you just 17,000 points, ie you get £170 points for £85 normal value.
I realise this will probably get slated as the passes are on offer at the moment for £99 family / £119 individual. But if like many people you've accumulated nectar points and never spend them I think it's worth using them for this - beats paying cash.

So for a family £85 gives £99 value, for an individual it is £119. Sadly this is probably the best value available for nectar points.

Agree - I think it's great value for nectar points. We've been accumulating them for years and keep meaning to spend them but never seems to be anything of value worth spending them on. (Apart from their nectar events)
We have a 2 year old so only need 2 passes at the mo but just couldn't decide whether to spend £238 on them. By using £170 (34,000) of our nectar points we'll get the two annual passes we need without raiding the bank account. Feels like a proper treat from the points too instead of just buying more groceries at sainsburys!

If you're voting cold could you let me know why please. Thank you:)
I don't mind if I know why.

Basic pass is currently on sale @ £99 for 12mths. So whilst using nectar points is free it's not as good as it could be if they were genuinely letting you spend points like real money.

Gosh that is good! Wish I had enough of those! Thank you

Direct via Sealife they are only £99 to start with and with Quidco/Topcashback you get 10% cashback. Surely there must be something more worthwhile to spend points on?

At the moment, the best conversion for nectar points for any reward is 500 points = £5.00. I realise I could save them for when they do the extra offers for instore shopping but I like the idea of getting a year of Merlin access from them - feels like an actual treat for the points rather than just grocery shopping!

We have passes and they are great, but last year they were only £79 during the sale. Also if you saved up that many nectar points you must be shopping in the wrong places :-)
